Whats sic about this picture are not the old grounded airlines, but the fact that they haven't been shreded into aluminum for beer cans so some cheap ___ operator cant fly them.
"This photo was taken sometime during the last week of January 2003 by an Auditor sent out by US Airways to check the condition of its fleet."
but are these aircraft really part of USAirways fleet anymore or do most belong to the lessors?

A large portion of them were sold pre-bankruptcy and the remaining aircraft are split amongst aircraft that we are keeping or ones that have been turned back.
