More Concessions?

Do you think AMR will see more concessions THIS year due to mounting losses?

Do you think AMR will "come a knocking" on our doors for more cencessions?

Forget about raising fare prices. That is no longer on the table, thanks to Delta's new fare structure that AA matched.

The company knows the only door that they need to knock is that of the TWU. The TWU will once again come through for the company!

Don't you think had AMFA gained BA here that the company would also be knocking at their door? They may not "know" first hand, but all they have to do is read.

This is getting to be the popular way for the companies. Get their financial relief from the working stiffs. AA is no different. Arpey stated, I believe, that he was going to await the decision of the BK judge before coming after our pensions and more concessions. We might hear something soon.

Maybe so, but I bet WE would get a chance to VOTE instead of having and "without further ratification" dictator sell us out even after he admitted the ratification was NOT legitimate.

We wish all you UAL guys the best in a very difficult decision. I am almost certain that AA will be joining the bankruptcy club in the near future if January 19, 2005 is any indication.

The difference is with the twu company union. The company knows they will get full cooperation and any concession they desire, will be given. The vote will be a complete joke, with the ability to change one's vote back and forth. The twu will sound just like AA management with the scare tactics, it will be hard to tell them apart.

LaMont Ray and Joe Prisco are to be commended on how a membership should be informed in a dire situation. How refreshing it must be to go into battle with a informed membership and a union that states; "This is what we are up against, its up to you to decide which way to go".

Instead we get a quivering Do-little; "We were going straight into Chapter 7 liquidation".

AMFA NOW!!!!!

native aa mechs better get ready, only about 1000 x twa guys left to get laid off. then the as starts falling on you.

The twu is NOT a union. They are merely an extension of AA Human resources.

"WHAT PART OF " UNION " DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND?" You twu supporting alias using cowards are a riot. "UNIONS" don't screw their dues paying members like the twu does. Step out from the shadows. The light will not harm you. Only your ignorance and cowardice will. 😛h34r:

Quick question: Do you think the majority will load their toolboxes, in mass, if the company presents us with more concessions?

I'm not talking about the TWU or the AMFA supporters, I'm talking about the general membership at AA, without union instruction. Will they load up to show Arpey it's time to fight?

What excuses will they use? Think hard and answer without using AMFA or TWU in your sentence.

What kind of question is that? Haven't you been told? We are "lucky to have a job, brother".

I work around folks that will gladly give up more to have a job in Tulsa with AA.

It is far more popular to be a company suck-ass than a union man willing to take a stand in Tulsa right now.

Just watch.
