MORE NO SHOWS FOR PILOTS

So that puts you around 2003. Wow! 4 whole years, you deserve 330 Capt by now. Slotted with guys with 16 more years of service than you and previous capt positons here. Your post make so much sense now. Still pretty junior, you're going to enjoy flying F/O for the east guys headed your way. By the way, way junior to me, maybe we should get on with this so I can come on out to PHX.

How many people does mr 16yrs of service have below him on your list??? I rest my case. If you want PHX then bid it!! I get along with anyone in the a/c except those who feel that they are owed something at my expense. Now how you got "way SENIOR to me" with the dates you listed is a puzzle, unless you lied!!! This is a tactic that shoud be well known to you as you reps have done it to all of you...

BTW I have no desire to ever fly a widebody doing long haul international...

I didn't say 16 years of service, I said 16 years more than you. That puts you about the same place on the list as my best friend. He had 2200 below him on our list.

I said between summer of '85 and summer '87. Summer '87=approx #2150 on combined list, summer '87=4000, big difference. Maybe after you have been around a while you'll understand how that works.

Don't remember asking about you flying International, but since you commented, ever done it? Not a bad way to make a living, the way we do it anyway.

History is just that. History.

If that were the case today, you would find little support among the east senior pilots for hanging on to the LOA 93 working conditions in order to make Nicolau moot. But just the opposite is happening. In this case, the senior pilots are marching lockstep with the junior (relatively speaking) east pilots to protect their upgrades. This is done to their own financial detriment, which the westies always love to point out.

The westies are dumbfounded that the senior east pilots are not going for the money grab this time, but have chosen to protect ALL of their own.

I have to admire their unity , because they are unified it makes them a stronger force to be reckoned with .

Heard 3 walked out of class today, so I think that's a total of 14 no shows?

AWA320,

You are truly clueless. The US Airways pilots believe the Nicolau Award is unjust and I agree with Jack Stephan...the East pilots will do anything to stop the Nicolau Award from being implemented.

Do you get that?

USA320Pilot

Chip,

Pity the US Airways pilots didn't view giving away our pension with as much outrage.

The US Airways PHL LEC Reps. are not driving the MEC's action regarding the Nicolau Award. The US Airways MEC Officers, the MEC Reps., MEC Committee members, and the vast majority of rank-and-file members are in total agreement in their resolve to never, ever let the Nicolau Award be implemented. Every MEC resolution regarding the Nicolau Award has been a unanimous vote.

Again, the only position the US Airways ALPA Negotiating Committee can take is to negotiate a separate contract with separate operations that are permanent and include all future mergers for both the US Airways and AWA pilots.

The vast majority of US Airways pilots would support the AWA pilots in their effort to obtain a pay raise, their desire to open up Section 6 negotiations (if desired), and permanent PHX/LAS fences.

All the US Airways pilots want is to maintain their attrition-based career expectation.

In my opinion, separate contracts or a joint contract with separate pilot operations with scope protections for both pilot groups would permit a new/improved contract for both pilot groups and maintain each pilot groups pre-merger career expectation, which I believe if fair and equitable.

USA320Pilot

Todays recall class 7/30 only had 17 of 31 show up for class. All this when there are 76 of us being Held Against Our Will at PSA. All assigned A319 10-PHL 7-DCA, this from someone who sat in on class.
ummm. I dont think anyone is held against their will at any job.

Ok so the statement still applies what's your point??

I said between summer of '85 and summer '87. Summer '87=approx #2150 on combined list, summer '87=4000, big difference. Maybe after you have been around a while you'll understand how that works.

Ok not going to argue or play games you asked for information I gave it you on the otherhand plaed games.

Don't remember asking about you flying International, but since you commented, ever done it? Not a bad way to make a living, the way we do it anyway.

Your statement was concerning the A330 was it not, do the A330's fly domestic pairings?? If not then again Pi the statements applies!!! Quit trying to justify your lame position. DOH has been dead for over 15yrs!! Time to move on and find some peace in your life...

Can someone please explain why the company would do this? I have no beef just wondering how this can be done.
