Nature and evolution

Human history and our evolution has always amazed me. In a relatively short period of time (6-7 million years) we have evolved from a very primitive hominid to our current state. I wonder what we will look like in another 6-7 million years.

OH god I hope not. If that is what the future holds for man kind, we might as well set off the nukes and call it a night. I do not think the universe will want us.
