Duh it'd be weight restricted like the current PHL-DFW E170s...No revenue there from bean counters.
WN starts service to PHL-AUS and PHL-SAT in April, do you actually think Tempe wants to go head to head with WN? You think Tempe would be connecting the middle, AUS/SAT/OKC/OMA to PHL/CLT. And some west flights to MSY-PHX/LAS, there are others, but right now I just can't think of any, long day. 16 days without any caffeine, My New Years resolution. I don't think its gonna last too much longer.Yeah... really... Is there a reason why there isn't at least a PHL-AUS flight? It's the third largest city in the state and the 4th busiest airport.
i was told today they were debating between mlb and pfn . let's hope they go with mlb. the other two vps and gpt were solid. So we know that VPS, PFN, GPT are the new destinations, but ETOPS1 stated that MLB was one. Do you think we could see Republic announce service to MLB soon. I think MLB could do well with the E175 like DAB
so is SHV on the books? GPT is pulling up as a valid city code on US.com but no SHV.Any chance they will select both PFN and MLB?
When I initially started the post, I was implying INTERNATIONAL destinations but ANY new routes are welcomed. All of the FLA destinations are certainly a draw. There are many cities that can be added on BOTH sides of the operation.......we have way too many cities that are accessable from only an East/West hub (New Orleans,San Antonio,Austin etc). Not to mention all the Mexican resort destinations that should be considered from CLT. Supposedly we will be taking a lot of the E190s in the near future and these a/c seem a logical choice or why doesn't some the contract carriers airWiskey,Republic, Mesa be delegated to serving those routes on our behalf? I am aware that the E190s are merely a replacement for the 737s but what am I missing here?US Airways Group Inc. is adding three destinations from Charlotte.
The Tempe, Ariz.-based carrier will begin service to Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; Gulfport/Biloxi, Miss.; and Panama City, Fla., this spring.
US Airways, which operates its largest hub at Charlotte/Douglas International Airport, recently announced it would begin seasonal service from Charlotte to Key West, Fla., on Feb. 16. That service will operate weekly on Saturdays through May 3.
What?? No PHL-TUS, or CLT-ABQ?? Are these guys crazy or what!? 🙄WN starts service to PHL-AUS and PHL-SAT in April, do you actually think Tempe wants to go head to head with WN? Oh, well maybe Tempe will add another Hawaii or San Juan flight.<SNIP> When I initially started the post, I was implying INTERNATIONAL destinations
I want my RDG service back, I am getting sick of driving to PHL. Since I have to drive, I will most-likely fly AA, CO or UA. Forget ABE and MDT, though they are easier to get to, but really hate RJ's.What?? No PHL-TUS, or CLT-ABQ?? Are these guys crazy or what!? 🙄

When will we see PHL-SJC flights?
