ok now lets not start this crap again.
Not broke, just owed more then they had cash on hand, and you can say that about every airline.
And HP certainly did not buy US it was a merger funded by outside investors.
Ah don't worry we will all come out west and bump you guys since we are the senior workforce.
And when you go out east and spouse tries to visit, to complain, lol!
No, the name is still a good one. It's just some of the people we should have gotten rid of. They are just were not in management, it was at all levels, as you can tell on here. You know, I've been waiting for someone to make the comment that since the higher ups decided to keep the US Air name that it is still the old US Air. We should have come up with a new name.
buckeyfan, do not listen to this retard. he just likes to stir the pot. he is the most negative poster on the usairways board. don't let him get to you. the majority of the east based employees don not feel as nearly as he does.Wow dude, you need to get a grip 😱
I don't recall saying HP bought US. I know that's not the case.
I don't need to worry about being bumped because I'm non-union and so is my work group.
I won't complain about my spouse being bumped because I am already used to the system in place and I understand that active employees should come first. Plus, we always plan and have backup. He's only been bumped once.

what are the breakdown in segments again? prices ect.
it broken down into 25 30 40 and 100 bucks segment depending on distance broken down into zones divided by states and countries
I dont' know about the old buddypasses on the east, but the west flexi-passes are good until they expire. But those flexis can also be traded in (3 for 1) for "new" buddy passes. Can we still use the old buddypasses?
i don't want to trade them in yet.
Whatever, I think everybody is just about sick of hearing that crap!!! I'm an East employee and I think they should travel on the priority below the active employees when traveling alone. Getting sick of hearing "this is the way we've always done it". You see what happened when we kept doing everything the same way!!!Well lets see what name is the company?
Lets see which company had more employees and more aircraft?
nope . that's right on the money. sweet!!This is what they put out in the past:
$25 O/W up to 500 miles
$30 O/W 501-1000 miles
$40 O/W 1001- miles
$100 O/W Europe & Hawaii
Segment/security fees and international taxes are on top of the above.
Has it changed somewhat and I missed it?
Jim
