I never claimed it was an AMFA or Scab issue.

I don't work in maintenance, yet was able to find the whole story with only a few keystrokes, using an entry *every* ground ops employee has access to. Why couldn't you?

No scabbing here...but again, we've been through this before. If you've been paying attention, you already know what position I hold at NW.

Why don't you try stopping the attempts at baiting people,? It's quite enervating. Quit chasing posters like Emil, Chas and myself around, and try bringing something intelligent to the boards for once. Remember in a discussion forum, it's Quality over Quantity.

Your posts have steadily gone downhill, and are now in a flat spin of delusion ("Dead bird?" WTF?).

How does any of this relate to an NRT flight being delayed for 43 hours?

Is that the best you can do PTO? Have you been hanging out at the playground after work and learning some new comebacks? I hope that is all you have been doing at the playground! Just because your getting lonely doesnt give you the right to abuse the innocent children who are teaching you things PTO.
 
So does anyone want to actually contribute to the discussion with the reason for the 43 hour delay, or do we all just want to keep learning new nicknames for everyone?

tadjr....the reason the plane was delayed so long was mechanical issues that PTO and his super heroes couldnt correct in a normal amount of time. From what ive read in fact they didnt correct the problem at all thus the having to stop in ANC to refuel on what is normally a nonstop flight.

But please dont forget PTO's famous words...these things happen everyday. Only thing i cant figure out is if that was true why wasnt there a 43 hr delay today to NRT? At least we all have comfort in knowing everything is running normally :lol:
 
DEAD BIRD, I must concede that you are correct things are not running normally. Please do forgive me for my earlier misrepresentations. MEL's are down to 190 the lowest in NW history. The bean counters cry every night at the billions of dollars wasted on AMFA mechanics. The policy writers are having to rewrite the charts to chart the much higher new standards. The pilots are elated at our instant resposes to their needs and the fact that over half the fleet is flying without any MEL's, even if it is taken with a bit of salt.
