I have been aware from the beginning just wondering what IAM leadership has to say about it. What is Air Wisconsin top out pay for passenger service agents? Is RHS (the new combined entity of XJ/OH/CP) unionize?Where have you been? People have been railing against this for ~3 years now...
BTW, ZW just lost a handful of these NW contracts to RHS (the new combined entity of XJ/OH/CP).
Just an aside, but ZW actually tops out higher than either US or NW. Takes forever to get there, but still...

They haven't ever really said much; especially when compared to, say, WFS or ATS taking cities over. My guess-and it's only a guess- is that their rationale is that since ZW is in DL143, it's better than the work going to a 3rd party.
Apparently, I can't read...it's $14.58 at most cities ($15.19 at "high cost" cities)... I stand corrected, and apologize for the incorrect info earlier.
No. None of the three are currently unionized.
Just as an update, as noted in the UA thread, apparently all ~25 cities where ZW handles NWA flights will lose that work on June 1st, with RHS taking it all over...
Source? Hven't heard this anywhere else. My station is not handled by ZW but we are still in a holding pattern on an announcement.....
Since I don't know how much one airline's union is tied into another's, I would wonder if they have the same officers and if they took a pay cut. Is Air Wisconsin's IAM prez the same as NWA's IAM prez is what I am wondering, for example.
It's a pity that a union has found a way to legally cross a picket line and replace high paid union workers with lower paid union workers.
Northwest is a poor product. They need to look at field stations and review the needs of the city. If the city is small or medium why not use DGS. Pay peanuts get monkies!!!
I have heard that DL is going to be getting DGS off the ramp in cities were mainline exists putting outsource employees, like the ones from DGS, in to a cleaner rolls. I would hate to loose good work like cleaning to a second rate outfit like DGS or RHS but here at NWA we still believe that the luggage should arrive with the passengers and if they(place your outsourcing company name here) can't do, we know that we can. This may have something to do with all the Northwest people running things now at DL The numbers don't lie.Great idea. Not. You clearly have no clue.
Nice attempt at flame bait. I have to give you credit, though. You are efficient. It only took you 4 sentences to posit a theory, and then contradict it. Well done!
