NW (BOS) Union Reps....Banned !

AMFA hand billed tons of times at the TOC. They werent kicked out of there. I cant see why this would be different.

AMFA reps handed me a piece of paper, outside of the TOC, BEFORE I started work. Big difference between that and passing out union propoganda on company grounds , on company time ! Yes Break time is company time , unless you get unpaid lunches !

That is quite true, it was always outside our workplace. Im sure that makes a difference in the legality of the issue.

Another anonymous post from 1 timer, i love it! Epic!

Okay, Dapoes
This will count as my second post. The ball is in your court, call the Delta ramp guys on day shift. Or are you afraid you'll learn something?

Actually its not.

Delta states that these types of activities are against company policy if done in operational and work areas, however they are allowed in breakrooms.

I have read the "rules" DL has in place regarding organizing. Doesn't look like the NW guys violated any.

It might, but how does that explain DL having the NW guys getting kicked out of the parking lot?

(bump)

There are still first-hand accounts of this type of behavior continuing...

As for BOS (and other cities), I wonder how this supervisor is going to handle it when the NW employees move over to the DL terminal next month. Not only do the NW employees have a legal right to view union materials, but the IAM leadership has the legal right to meet with them/discuss issues.

Should be interesting...
