From the pictures I've seen those scabs dont look that young. In fact most look like they are in their 50s yet in all that time the only way they could get a job with a major is to be a scab. At that age these guys were probably not laid off.

All the mechs I know who were laid off were able to find work, most have no intention on coming back.

I also know quite a few good mechs who quit. They went all sorts of places. One started his own air conditioning business, another became a lawyer, one started a Snap-on route, two went to Con ed, another went to a major truck dealership and three went to Jet Blue and all of them had well over 10 years seniority and were nowhere near a layoff.Thats just those I can think of off the top of my head, what NWA has is all the losers who could not get other jobs. Guys that couldnt fix cars or trucks are now taking apart NWAs aircraft. That should make the customers feel good!

Good luck to all who fly NWA, they may need it.

It might be because the at least have to look at the repair before they sign it off.

Please don't lecture us on the quality of the replacements I mean they did basicly SEND OFFERS TO ANYONE WITH A HEARTBEAT and took anybody who could spell AIRPLANE!

They won't come back because they have not the experience to survive in the real world of aviation they are merely line mech's who change tires and drink coffee , as for the lawyers and the car mech's the pursued more challenging careers. the folks stepping up to the plate are those who have been doing the heavy maintenance you morons are incapable of.

Why do you guys reply to Mrs. T and her trolling?

Bowhunter,

If I could I would consider attempting to change airlines. A lot of uncertainy here. Your call. I believe Bob is right, Northwest is more than likely less safe than before.

Because, the morally challenged need understanding!
They have no values, no morals! They couldn't get hired by an airline during the normal hiring process so they feed on whale #### waiting to step in and benefit from union fought and won wages! Then they have the balls to say unions are useless and dangerous to a company's survival.
But where would these bottom feeders be without union won wages and benefits?

They would still be cleaning toilets and scraping gum off the bottom of fast food eatery furniture!

If they were worth anything to anyone, they would have already had a decent job with some company.

Don't believe their tirades that they were all on layoff from existing airlines! Look at the pictures of them! How can even union busting management trust these people? They know these people would screw their own mothers and sisters for a paycheck? Do they not think that these same toilet denizens would cut their own supervisors and managers balls off to keep the paycheck and advance?

Don't the scabs realize they are used as pawns and they know how easy it is to bend them over? Don't they realize that airline management will come back for more concessions even from these lowlifes when oil hits $70, $80 $100 a bbl?

The slides were being used as a result of the emergency evacuation after the nose gear collapsed on landing. Keep up.

Thanks for the info. As for keeping up, thanks for the advice mommie....

Bowhunter,

It is becoming increasingly clear that you should also be concerned about on-time performance and getting to your destination period. Even if the plane you are to ride would be considered "safe", if it doesn't fly or get you there on time, you should consider alternative travel.

Is this how you justify? Is this how yo try to make believe you are just like the honest hard working souls you have walked over? Nice try but you will always be what you are, no matter how you try to justify and try to fit in.

Mikey AMFA tripped over their own showlaces. Get over it. Either find another job or go back to work. You are beating a dead horse.
