Who is she accountable too? If she is responsible for paying for the pregnancy, birth and raising the kid then it is her right to do as she sees fit with her body. If she wants to pay for an abortion that is her right.

So who is that?  Isis, Apollo, Buddha, Mohamed, Zeus, Vishnu....???  Should it not be their decision on what actions they take.  If they have to pay the piper then it is their decision.  I do not see how it is yours or anyone else.
 
Not meant as a shot but how is it you can allow an exception for a child conceived from rape?  How is that child's life any less less deserving than one conceived out of an accident or out of love?  Same goes for incest.  We have the medical ability to determine if any genetic abnormalities exist.  Why should that life be terminated and another not?  Seems like a rather random standard.
 
You believe in a God of some sort.  I do not.  I do not base my decisions on what someone thinks some other being has said is good or bad.  I base my decisions on what I feel is best for me.  My wife had an abortion at a young age.  I am glad she did.  She was able to continue her education, live her life and I was able to meet her, get married and enjoy my life with her.  None of which would have happened had she had a child.  So for us it worked out well. 
 
I believe a person has to have the right to control their own destiny.  I believe that is an unequivocal right which should have absolutely no limitations.  With this I stand with Sparrow.
