Obama's War on Women

A child is already born, a fetus is not but to your general point ... yes.

Fancy lawyer talk to excuse the murder of an innocent human being.

I never heard a woman say "The fetus kicked me".

Don't worry, nobody is going to take away your "right" to kill your children before they're born.

"Right to determine their own destiny" ----- Tree, we want the same thing! But we can't get there by depending on a oppressive, over regulating, over manipulating, Government! And in my 72 years, I've never seen such oppression, and manipulation, as that of Obama's administration. The concept of "Political Correctness" has gone way over the top, and is endangering our whole way of life! This was once the "Land of the free"! No longer true!!!! Big Government has changed all that!!!

Actually it is medical terminology, not legal.

So?  People use imprecise terminology all the time.

That is not the reality.  There are several states who have already made the medical requirements so burdensome that nearly all the clinics have shut down.  MS comes to mind.

OK but I need some examples of oppression that have been implemented by Obama that were not there before him.  I know you are going to mention ACA but I do not see how requiring everyone to have medical insurance which eventually will be needed is oppressive.  I would rather everyone pay their own way than me have to pay for people who do not have coverage like it is now.  So leaving ACA aside, what other examples do you have?

Tree having an abortion is not the same as having a biol lanced!-------- It's all MS requires is that the doctor doing the procedure have access to a near by hospital, if, something should go wrong! That is for the safety of the patient!

Doctors say a lot of things.

They used to say diet and smoking had no effect on health.

Now they say how many guns do you own.

No it's not.  Never said it was.  The burden placed on doctors in MS is BS.  The law already states that if a person shows up at a hospital they cannot be denied care.  There is no need for a specific doctor to have privileges.  All it is is a work around for MS to deny a woman the right to have an abortion.  This has nothing to do with the safety of the woman.  Never mind that the doctors are being denied privileges at the various hospitals in the area.  Pretty convenient.

Given that child birth is also potentially quite dangerous do you think midwifes need privileges at all surrounding hospitals to practice (I looked, they don't)?

You like moving the target when you get called out don't you?

You said the terms were legal.  They are not.

Thats the thing about science.  When you are able to actually study something you can prove or disprove a theory.  There was no science to show that smoking had no detrimental affects (that was a business move).  Science and medicine stepped in to say it did.

What does gun control have to do with this conversation other than you trying to change course because your arguments are failing?  I know you think they are not but if they were not failing you would be able to stay on topic which you are not.

That knowledge evolves?  At one time people thought the world was flat and the center of the universe.  Science proved them wrong.

Another big government liberal trying to dictate the conversation.

We get it, you want the right to kill your unborn children.

You could at least be honest about it.

Dictate the conversation? Not my fault you don't want to stay on topic because you have no argument. Another conservative who wants to stick his finger in the dike thinking that will some how solve the problem. So why is it the big government conservatives want to dictate how people conduct their private lives and what they can do with their body?

I never denied it in the first place.
