I think if you are going to be advocating legislation pertaining to abortion and womens health you at least ought to know what you are talking about.  

 

During an Idaho state legislature hearing this Monday, Idaho Republican state Representative Vito Barbieri asked "if a woman can swallow a small camera for doctors to conduct a remote gynecological exam", reports the Associated Press, which noted that, in response to  Rep. Barbieri's question, a female physician testified "that would be impossible because swallowed pills do not end up in the vagina."

While I don't agree with his statement, he was speaking to his congregation as a minister, and not as their Congressman.

If you truly believe in the separation of church and state, shouldn't that separation also be applied to his religious views? Or is that just a one-way argument intended to protect atheists when it's convenient?

Then again, diverting attention to Klingenschmitt will just make people ignore the facts around this crime. The attacker won't face murder charges because the eight month old "clump of cells" which could have survived outside the womb didn't have rights under Colorado law:

Then perhaps the idiot should have kept his mouth shut so that such a law could be passed that would not affect a woman right to control.her own body. Given his religious bias we both know he would never support that because he will not separate his church life from his state life. The diverting is his fault. No one else.
