Speaking of a person wholly "detached from reality" Tree; You, long ago described being mugged by thugs, while naturally being helplessly/unarmed/clueless/etc, with a lady companion with you, she equally made helpless by your side and left utterly at the questionable mercy of your attackers.  Has it never even occurred to you that you just "might" have had even the slightest duty to protect her?
