Salary data released last week revealed average male staffers at the White House earn about 13% more than their female counterparts. The White House responded by pointing out six female staffers received high profile promotions in the past year. However, according to data collected by the conservative consulting firm Target Point, the women who were promoted at the White House received smaller raises than men.

You know, one of the things that has always been one of my frustrations and I speak about this all the time – many of my male colleagues, when they go to the House floor, you know, they’ve got some pie chart or graph behind them and they’re talking about trillions of dollars and, you know, how the debt is awful and, you know, we all agree with that.

He didn't need to do any of those to outscore you, just needed to avoid the war on women.

You're probably right. The aggressor rarely sees it as a war, and find other terms to justify their actions.

Clinton is a sleaze ball and should have served time for sexually assaulting Lewinsky.  He abuse his power and there is no getting around that as far as I ma concerned. 
 
Having said that, the dems do not advocate policy's that are against women like the republicans do.  Republicans want to deny women control over their own body.  They want to deny health insurance coverage for birth control and now Elmers wants the boys to dumb it down for the women. 
 
There is a difference between the actions done by individuals to individuals and actions done by the the GOP that affect all women.  You can spin it any way you want but Romney lost the womens vote by over 20% for a reason.  May be the GOP should listen to Elmers and dumb it down a bit more for women.  See how that works out for them.
