Bargaining between Northwest Airlines and its mechanics union will resume Feb. 22, but rank-and-file mechanics will not be allowed to observe the negotiations.
A federal judge in St. Paul ruled Friday that the Aircraft Mechanics Fraternal Association (AMFA) must follow the directives of a federal mediator, who has said observers will be excluded from the talks.
