Open Skies Permit ?

No, you wouldn't, unless it was in your contract and you negotiated how much candy you could receive, the number of houses you visit, and how long you were outside trick or treating without a break.

😛

Give me a break, the thread is about open skies, not halloween, and sorry I am a bit too old to trick or treat, but I will take my son trick or treating.

As far as someone wondering about how far planes can go and where they can go, the term ETOPS comes to mind for the overewater abilities as far as going to destinations in the pacific. I believe the 777 can go to certain destinations because of their extended ETOPS(360 minutes on one engine IIRCC) but they have to do weird routings in order to follow this rule. This is where the 747s are very key to your competitors because they don't need weird routings that waste time and gas. The open sky agreements are really in name only because you still need permission to fly the routes. I can envision some of these being codeshares due to the fact that U lacks aircraft and amenities to compete globally. BTW, unless U orders more A350s, they will primarily be used to replace the 767 fleet.

Bob,

Were you wearing your mask when we met? LOL!!!

Just kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS. I can't eat the candy.
