Someone on another forum I participate on posted an interesting theory one this affair. In a nut shell, the intel was used to track down OBL and once he was found in Jun or Jul of 2010, he was monitored. The folks realized that the ISI was probably involved and they let it drag on to get more evidence against the ISI to expose them. Once the intel started to dry up they informed the POTUS and attack plans were set up for execution. The actual target was the ISI not OBL with the hope that this would allow the Pakistani governemnt to take over the ISI.

It's not only plausible, but likely what happened. Pakistan as a country is a treacherous place and their version of the Gestapo aka ISI adheres to a modified version of the Golden Rule "Give us the gold and we'll make the rules"
Given this, I think Obama's greatest victory was clearly exposing Pakistan for the scheming scumbags they've always been. The capture of OBL and his subsequent demise was in some ways a happy coincidence.

face facts folks, the Islamic Middle East hates us and that's fine by me. We have a very simple long term solution to the Middle East. However it requires leadership and a plan. Something Obama is incapable of as he's a globalist and the plan requires a nationalist in the White House. Between Oil, Natural Gas, Coal, Nuclear, Wind, Solar & Geothermal we have enough resources to become a net producer of energy which eliminates ANY impact of OPEC & the Middle East. We get tons of jobs out of producing our own energy. Balance of payments becomes positive in our favor. With full employment we can fund the Treasury and ultimately pay down the debt and maybe even have a few dollars left over.

In this scenario not one need care about the Middle East, let them go back to trading camels, who cares what they say or do? F*ck'em! they want us out? fine we're take our Army that protects their lying thieving asses, throw them on the boats and we get the F*ck out. We have the resources to flip the bird to the entire Middle East. What we don't have is the balls to do it.

His emphasis is CNG ( compressed natural gas) and wind both resources the US has a plentiful supply. There is no indication that Bush did very much to effect OBL's capture so I fail to see what recognition he should recieve. Also I seem to recall that what ever happens in a presidents term is theirs or is that just for the bad stuff that you do not want to attribute to the previous president?
