Parker In Phl

barbeetantrums, CEOS do indeed read this board. In fact, an ex-CEO from the 'real world' was lurking not long ago. Anyway, they do read this board and so do members of the press. The list of names lurking on here is long and distinguished and infamous. Enjoy the backyard bbq or brawl...it all depends on what mood everyone is in these days.

Eye,

The real world tv show is going to tempe to film its next season, it was a fly on the wall buzzing around the kitchen looking for food.

Well, my understanding is sometime next week or maybe as soon as tomorrow, hero Doug Parker will make an announcement on who in the Exec. VP ranks are going to AWA.

Me thinks you won't be thinking him such an ingenious savior once you read the list of who from U is going over to AWA.

I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt, PITbull. Don't mistake my optimism for hero worship. And please don't think I haven't thought about the myriad of possible layoffs and selloffs after this merger occurs.

I read the board often, and if I'm out of a job by the end of the year or later, I already have an exit plan in place.

I personally think Lakefield is way better than Siegel. Hopefully Parker will be even better. The airline seems to keep trading upward.

I happen to be very optimistic! The ONLY concern I have is what I have stated prior.

The level of success of the new enterprise is proportional to the number of CCY ececutives retained. If I was Parker the only guy I would keep is Lakefield.

Right on! Which goes straight back to my original premise of skewering executives and management after getting the story from the employees. Maybe Parker would consider meeting with FFOCUS and hearing what you all have to say as well. I'll bet that frequent flyers could elucidate Mr. Parker about numerous problems at US as well as all of the great things employees do above and beyond our scope.
