Passengers who require a seatbelt extension and whose BODY extends one inch beyond the outer limits of their seat will need to have TWO seats. F/A needs to inform G/A of situation.
This will be interesting...Comments?

"Body Box"...if you can't fit through it you'll need to buy an extra seat.

Could this mean the F/A's will carry rulers as part of their mandatory safety equipment?

The company memo said that if there were extra seats available, then the pax can be accomodated; otherwise...I assume that they would have to wait for the next flight or pay for two seats. The policy is not fully explained. It just advises us to check for the use of the extender and the "one inch" thing, and to notify the gate agent.

Not that I think any of this reasonable but how about these?

People of odor.

If someone smells like they just came off a six day drunk and crawled out from under a bridge. Pay for all seats beside, in front, or behind them.

Ditto for people of perfume or people who slept with a French prostitute and haven't taken a whorebath.

Kids of morons.

Pay for the seat directly in front of them so passengers don't have to tolerate endless seat kicking while Mom reads the National Enquirer.

Recliners

Pay for the seat directly behind them so no one has to have a stranger laying in their lap.

please southwest has been doing this for years. If you can't fit in the seat then you should have to buy two seats.
