Passengers of SIZE

Let me ask this. When are they going to have more strict procedures for sizing a f/a's rear? I don't care about their ability to "do their jobs". Some are freaking HUGE. Can't even get down the aisle. There is no way someone is gonna convince me that Susie Snowflake weighing 150 more pounds than me is gonna have the same hussle and bussle when it comes to getting an evac done. Sorry, cut it how you like....Won't happen. If your gonna throw big passengers off the plane (which I won't be a part of) the better start throwing some flight attendants off the plane right along with them. I weigh about 155 and I can't tell you how many times my one A##cheak has had to hang off a j/s for takeoff and landing.
How about a 60 years old F/A who needs a walker to get down the aisle?

Take your discrimination up with recurrent training. Why are the obese free targets? I think those who suffer from obesity should be provided the same hostile-free work environment that is mandated by current law.

This doesn't exist. I don't know which department you are in, but FYI, flight attendants have to pass recurrent every year.

If you work in an office, then your environment is completely different. On an aircraft, we can discriminate for safety reasons as MANDATED BY LAW. Remember FAA?

Why would you stay on a jumpseat that you are only half on? In the event of an emergency you are not going to be protected.

Sitting in the smoke room in CLT, a male FA said he encountered this problem onboard and called a supervisor down to the plane. He was removed from the flight and replaced with another FA. No other action was taken against him or the other FA.

Why would you be worrying about "seat" protection "Sitting in a smoke room in CLT"?

You really have a cretinous sense of risk, don't you? I mean, you could die in less than three months from second hand smoke, much less if you are smoking. and you are running up my medical payments to boot.

I've worked with one-cell animals that are much smarter than you seem to be.

Not that I think any of this reasonable but how about these?

People of odor.

If someone smells like they just came off a six day drunk and crawled out from under a bridge. Pay for all seats beside, in front, or behind them.

Ditto for people of perfume or people who slept with a French prostitute and haven't taken a whorebath.

Kids of morons.

Pay for the seat directly in front of them so passengers don't have to tolerate endless seat kicking while Mom reads the National Enquirer.

Recliners

Pay for the seat directly behind them so no one has to have a stranger laying in their lap.

Airlines are not subject to the ADA; however, they are
subject to the Air Carrier Access Act of 1986, which prohibits
discriminatory treatment of people with disabilities when
travelling by air. The Air Carrier Access Act is enforced by the
U.S. Department of Transportation.
