Paycuts

USAIR is setting the stage as to what pay will be in the future at the legacy carriers that survive you can bet on that!!!! 500M  I think you ALL will be VERY surprised how much UniTED will truly ask your groups to sacrifice AGAIN! IT'S GOING TO BIG AND PAINFUL, THE SAME WAY IT HAS BEEN AT USAIR!!!!!

We'll know in a couple of weeks, but I have a feeling you're right. They will use the BK court to maximize concessions.

BS!!! and you know it, dontcha? UAL will be here, they just won't ever be taking you back from furlough (because you didn't get furlough, did ya?) You are so obvious.

I'm amazed that you get off hoping your old co-workers get the high hard one.

BTW FLY, all my old co-workers and Friends from UAL have already gotten the HIGH HARD ONE as you put it!!!

Mr. Fish,

I just lurk and read the posts to see what people are thinking, but you have got to be the most nauseating poster.

I don't get the unhealthy anger with United. It was a job you didn't like and left ..quit/fired who cares. You now love Frontier? Don't get so emotionally attached to them, it's not healthy for you...go find a good hobby or maybe volunteer at some communty service organization.

Frontier just gives you a check for doing your job as best you can. If you think they truly care about you any more than any other American company you need some time off.

Good luck at Frontier, relax and enjoy life.

The problem we are having here at US is good old union busting. The mantra here is capitulate or liquidate. There is no where to go with that. Strike? They would close down, sell what's left...and as our #### Bronner said he would do, start "'BAMA AIR". Think he was joking? I don't. There is a concerted effort to get rid of all the employees just because we are older and loyal. And that, my friends is a sad day when one is penalized for loyalty.

For myself, I am staying until the end...just for spite. I will not be spiteful to the customer or fellow employees..but as far as management..I loathe them and wish nothing but damnation to each of them and will feel that way until THEY share the burden and take a 21% cut. Bitter? Not really, but they will have to pry me out.

I see Fish's Shrink let him out of his 'rubber bowl' again....Hey Fish, you never posted a copy of your 'retro check', I'm disappointed. Why don't you and your friends at F9 get a Forum of your very own. It'll be all yours! You all can learn how to spell, use proper punctuation, and maybe share tips on how to brush your teeth (since you don't have a Dental Plan)! Perhaps it's possible that your self esteem will increase so you won't have to 'prey' on the misfortune of others. BTW, I don't think your airline is as rosey as you make it out to be--why are you guys pulling service out of LAX as it has been documented in the papers?

PS. There's this green stuff in a bottle called Scope, maybe you should try it.

To all my friends at UAL, go to the IAMAW website, District 141 page and look at the latest f*@king the company brass has handed fleet service at US today. It's the 1113c. Among other things it will reduce our pay to 12.65 an hour, remove another weeks vacation, reduce sick day pay to 50% pay, and they still haven't announced what they're going to do to our medical and dental.
Vote no guys! Vote no! Then cover you as*es and run like hell!
Good luck from your friends at US!

As unfortunate as it is for all of us, the company has the golden hammer. When all is said and done, this airline will be a mere shadow of its' former self. But the thing I love the most is that they talk plenty about cutting costs, but they have absolutely NO CLUE how to increase revenue! This airline is slowly sliding into a TWA-esque death spiral.

Casual Rat,

Still see that your pain is EVERYONES interest. And I make it to the dentist twice a year for a cleaning and brush 3 times a day, what a zealous F you are  Frontier has a dental plan, good medical, and vision! And I probably don't fork out the premiums that you have to at UAL HELL. YOU, FLY, BUS, AND DRIVER think you irritate me with your childish little comments. It's excusable; I know the stress that you all are under.

And RAT yes here is a copy of my last retro check, the name and employee number are covered to protect the innocent. But, you'll still call me a liar same as FLY will always tout that I was fired from that crap hole of a company UniTED. We'll be watching what happens, EVERYONE is expecting UAL to ask for the same cuts that USAIR is seeking. If they get the contracts there abrogated, I'd put 20 bucks that UAL will try to get yours abrogated also.

You know...voting "no" isn't brain surgery. You KNOW exactly how I'm going to vote. But why are USAir people on this board? And why are they exuding us to make a stand that they would not?

Why should you be scared....since you lowered the "limbo" stick....that is unless everyone else makes it under...then it's your turn again

I'm here because I have friends at UAL (I guess you're not one of them) who I hope don't suffer the same insult and injury we at US are. As for exuding you to make a stand we would not, what makes you so sure we're not trying to? Pardon me for caring about a fellow airline worker. I'll stick to my board and you can dine where I defecate. Get the picture?

195303....hmmmm, interesting! You sure that's not fake?

Mr. Fish,

C'mon, give these guys a break. They are about to go through some very rough times as a labor group, which will be financially devistating to many of them. Keep in mind that we (F9) will report a significant loss tomorrow. Although we have a very strong Balance Sheet, relatively speaking, this situation could happen to any carrier.

Fly & Casual Rat,

When Mr. Fish incites you with his posts and you respond with derogatory comments about F9 and their employees, keep in mind that many United furloughees work here as well as many of us from other major airlines. Precision counter attacks (posts) would ruffle less feathers.
