Pelosi Sports A Hijab

I learned a long time ago to not be concerned with what other 'Christians' say or do.What I say or do is my main concern in my path.Too many find a person who is Christian and judge them....this person is no different or any less infallible than you or I...the only difference is they may try walking the path a little harder.
Whether they succeed is another issue.

Very true statement that I agree with 100%

Curious...do you believe peace is do-able?
Yes, peace is doable, but it will not be easy getting there.

People thought peace with Egypt was an impossibility before Anwar Sadat went to Jerusalem in 1977. Now, Israel has peace with Jordan, too, and commercial and diplomatic ties with several other Arab states.

Syria has never breached any cease fire or border agreement that it reached with Israel over the years.

The war with Lebanon, last summer, proved that geographic buffers do not serve the same purpose that they served in 1967 when Israel took over the Golan.

Some territories will have to be given back, if only to avoid the demographic time bomb. Where and how much is not for me to say. Israel has a democratically elected political leadership and qualified military and security experts who will make those decisions.

I doubt it.
There is ‘nothing’ Israel can do short of giving ‘everything’ back to the Palestinians’ and becoming Muslim that will appease the Islamic Nuts. Past peace treaties have been broken and future peace treaties will be broken as well.

History has shown this and nothing has changed.
Pls Correct me if my hypothesis is incorrect.

At what cost? are you willing to see Jerusalem sacrificed?

You place your trust in Arab states that wish to see your country driven into the sea?

Syria has never breached any cease fire or border agreement that it reached with Israel over the years.

Wow, so you consider Hamas and Hezzbolah brethern?

Of course not, they want your people purged and pushed into the mediterranean.

You're an Israeli born Jew and willfully give the Land of your birthright to the Arabs?...

Coward

Boy you sure are lucky to live in the good 'ol USA....

Putin would have you in the slammer....Ahmineijihad would have you killed

Ha ha. And we all know that Americans are never arrested for criticizing the president!

Of course that above statement is partly true. They are not arrested for "criticizing Bush." Rather, they are arrested and charged with violating a newly created ordinance that prevents them from carrying backpacks while criticizing Bush, or from talking above 2 decibels while protesting the war. Gotta love Texas!

You got it so bad here....

You cannot refute the facts, so you resort to name calling. How typical of you.

Israel is facing a ticking demographic time bomb unless it withdraws from the major Palestinian population centers.

The real cowards are those like you who do nothing more than mouth off in support of their objectives and expects others to shed their blood in order to achieve them.

Why don't you mull over this bit of history?

Outgoing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed Sunday that Israel held clandestine, indirect talks with Syria for more than a year during his tenure.

Speaking at a cabinet meeting -- the first since his defeat in the May 17 elections -- Netanyahu said his administration had held talks with Syria using several intermediaries.

His comments came after the Israeli daily newspaper Ha'aretz reported last Friday that Israel and Syria were close to signing a peace agreement that would have included a significant Israeli withdrawal from the Golan Heights.

The two sides came close to establishing disarmament zones on the Golan and replacing Israeli forces there with foreign troops.

According to the paper, the talks began in late 1997 and mediators included Oman's foreign minister, the European Union's Middle East envoy and Ronald Lauder, a Netanyahu confidant who is reported to have traveled to Syria seven or eight times for high-level meetings, including one with President Hafez Assad.

One very important thing you are forgetting, speaking off mouthing off--- GOD has chosen those people and GOD is still watching out for them.

If ANYONE goes against them then it follows they go against God, which most on this planet do anyway and why the mess you guys are vainly arguing over.

Israel will live on, nothing will happen to her, look at history to see this reality you are overlooking and believing you know better than the creator who decides the fates of individuals and nations.

[Excerpts]
Speaker Pelosi's father, the late US congressman Thomas D'Alesandro, Jr., of Maryland, was known as a Roosevelt Democrat. What is not widely known is that D'Alesandro broke ranks with president Franklin D. Roosevelt on the issues of rescuing Jews from Hitler and creating a Jewish State.

D'Alesandro was one of the congressional supporters of the Bergson Group, a maverick Jewish political action committee that challenged the Roosevelt administration's policies on the Jewish refugee issue during the Holocaust, and later lobbied against British control of Palestine.

The Bergson activists used unconventional tactics to draw attention to the plight of Europe's Jews, including staging theatrical pageants, organizing a march by 400 rabbis to the White House, and placing more than 200 full-page advertisements in newspapers around the country. Some of those ads featured lists of celebrities, prominent intellectuals, and members of Congress who supported the group - including D'Alesandro.

UNTIL LATE in the Holocaust, the Roosevelt administration's position was that nothing could be done to rescue Jews from the Nazis except to win the war. The Bergson Group was convinced that there were many steps the US could take to rescue refugees, without impeding the war effort.

Bergson's strategy for changing US policy was anchored in the hope that humanitarian-minded Democrats like D'Alesandro would break ranks with the White House over the plight of the Jews. Rallying Congress was a way to put pressure on the president.

The Bergson Group's Holocaust campaign culminated in the introduction of a Congressional resolution, in late 1943, urging creation of a government agency to rescue refugees. Senator Tom Connally of Texas, a loyal FDR supporter and chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, blocked the committee's consideration of the resolution. But when Connally was out sick one day, his replacement, Senator Elbert Thomas (D-Utah) quickly ushered the resolution through. In the House of Representatives, too, there was growing support for the rescue resolution.

This Congressional pressure helped influence President Roosevelt to do what the resolution urged - in early 1944, he established the War Refugee Board. Despite its small staff and meager funding, the Board played a key role in the rescue of more than 200,000 Jews from the Holocaust. Its many accomplishments included sponsoring the heroic life-saving activities of the Swedish diplomat Raoul Wallenberg in Nazi-occupied Budapest.

AFTER THE war, D'Alesandro continued supporting the Bergson Group as it campaigned for the establishment of a Jewish State in Mandatory Palestine. That sometimes meant clashing with the Truman administration, which wavered back and forth on the issue of Jewish statehood.

Whatever his motives, D'Alesandro was taking a big risk. He knew that by defying Roosevelt and Truman, he might be making enemies in the White House.

That is why six millions of us perished in the Holocaust. 🙄

By the way, Yom Hashoah - Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Day starts at sundown tonight.
Physical death is far different from spiritual death which of course to you is a fool's talk. From GOD’S point of view it’s no big deal [6 million dead because they are still his] but to the lost it’s really everything. Satan is Alive and Well on Planet Earth, for proof read the nonsense here on aviation.
