I understand your desire to fulfill "the dream" of being a FA. We have all been there.
There are quite a few other airlines hiring as we speak...That are NOT in BK.
Why would you want to part take in this (your words) "NIGHTMARE" ???
The worst is yet to come !!! Sedition is imminent.
I would rather see this ship in CH 7...............Let that be dougies nemisis for his nefarious deeds.
He shall go down in shame and flame, as did his predecessor, "FRANKIE LORENZO" ! may they both burn in HELL.

I am of the "old school".... When you know you are on your way down / out.. Take at least one with you..................

Should I even bother with you guys? Sure why not.

I was not referring to me going to work for AA but the Northwest Flight Attendants that would be striking. I would never even consider working at any job where I had to pay union dues. However if you guys ever go on strike you can count on me being first in line to scab for AA. I will also be very happy to introduce myself full time to the AA forum.

As far as my wife goes, she wouldn't have any interest in someone as needy as you guys. She tends to favor strong self-reliant men.
 
10,000? I didn't realize there was that many. I am beginning to see some of the same F/A's on a somewhat regular basis. I really don't know a lot about the F/A side of the industry. 10,000 though seems like an awful lot to me though. Does it really take that many or are they also overstaffed like the mechanics were? Does the F/A unions impose the same restrictions on companies that forces them to overstaff? Here on the mechanics side I'm having a hard time figuring out what so many mechanics did here.
Although I am not a F/A and have no idea what the NWA F/A contract reads in regard to staffing, the FAA says that for so many passengers there will be one F/A. I believe it is 30 passengers to one F/A. Also, I believe the service level (Int'l premium flights with 3 class service and meals) mandate more than the FAA minimum.

"Replaced by morning?" I doubt that seriously. If the F/A's at Northwest walked today, Northwest would probably have to be liquidated. Yes, some people consider that "suicide", but it is better to go down fighting than live as a slave or as a scab.

The same right to stand up and say No more! Sometimes quiting and leaving tail between your legs is not the best or only option.

<_< And sometimes you have to out think them! Don't go "out" on strike and let them bring in the scabs! Strike on the job!!!! I know, with a little imagination, one could through a monkey wrench into a opperation! Be creative!!! Us their own rules to bring things to a screaching holt!!! It's been done before!! And for all theose management types out there, no, I'm not suggesting sabatoging an aircraft, or anything close to that!!! One really dosen't have too!!!----😛 😛 😛

Why are you guys always worried about the pilots?
Shouldn't you be asking what are the other unions going to do? How is this going to affect negotiations for other unions? It might not be in a not so distant future that other unions are going to be sitting in the same boat as AMFA. What has this done to the bargaining power of the other unions?

Thanks for the compliement, as for being of the "old school" be careful that you do not burn your bridges behind you. I always when dealing with unjust employers in my eyes smiled saluted played along, while I was looking somewhere else then left. In this economy, and with the current group of I got mines , and I want more in charge of the country, and businesses the only alterntive is to go for the bucks. Unions never did my grandfather, father,and uncles any good just paid for the big cigars,and the Caddys for them. The only union I have is myself, and family. I do my best on my job, and act professional.

On another topic my classmate "replacement FA" has issued a challange on the PFAAwatch site. First, I know who you are you have dropped so many hints, and so did I. I was your classmate, and deployment mate was never a employee of NWA, with exception being during training till release. My hope was that the older folks took their retirement you folks would move up, and we move in. . Flew you airline as a passenger and was very impressed with the FA's, and wanted to become one. Invested my time of three weeks of intensive training with little time to party hardy as some others did. Kept to the rules while in classes, and on deployment, and would have if activated. Haven't received a call from them yet would say yes, and hope the strike, or whatever would not happen. As for replacement fa you have my e-mail/ mail me.......
