Hey all, I have a quick question. The PHL Crew room at B is B6? I remember an FA friend went in there while we met up w/ her. I think she went to checkin for her flight? What do you do in there for 3 or 4 minutes? Also, what happens when people board thru B6, the FA's going to crew room have to push and shove through the wave of pax?

You got it. We shove our way through and enter our crappy hole with nowhere to sit. Just a round table and 3 chairs. We are getting a new crew room this summer or fall under the end of B gates. Bran new everything and inflight services is moving down there as well. I can't wait to get out of that nasty B-6.
The reason we only spend 3-4 minutes down there is because it's so dirty, we will get the cooties

Well, my F/A friend did say it was nothing special and it wasn't even worth being shown to us. Now, F/A's that fly from C and A also have to use that crewroom?
I am glad you guys are getting a brand new crew room.

What's with the fascination?

And better yet, is it a SIDA area?

Truthfully, the only thing missing from the B6 crew/ rest room is the urinals.

We are so desensitized to it that we just look right through it to do our jobs.

It is definitely a SIDA. No way can a non-employee go in there, unless you are two. You'd have direct access to A/C. Also, if you're not a crew member, you'd stick-out like a sore thumb.

Thank you for the answer, USCREW.

Whereas I appreciate KingLobJaw's fascination for everything US, I also prefer that SIDA areas stay off-limits from persons who don't belong, unless you follow "Da Rulz" and get an escort and the associated badge that goes with it, along with signing in with TSA.

Oh ya, definately. There wasn't anytime anyway the last time we transited via PHL, but If I was ever again given the opportunity to vist the Crew Room I would be definately be escorted by a US Airways crew member and I would give all my personal info. Me and my parents have nothing to hide and we are harmless.

My only other question is whether or not we are allowed to take pictures inside the Crew Room for our own keepsake(not my website or anything public just incase you ask :cop: )
