pilots going to merger talks wheres the TWU

Don V. and Vanderloo are also trying to straighten out the rif mess they created with out first getting the seniority
issues handled.

They also have not got the time to deal with all the vacancies around the system.

Probably because they are working on trying to sell their plan to screw all their former coworkers on the line.

Oh no!! Thats means if they don't have time, they will except any terms the company proposes. No wait even if the had time they would except anything, They're the TWU!! or maybe they will "Fight like Hell". HAHAHAHA!!!!! YEAH RIGHT!!!

Now that's a first!! That never happens with this union. Everyone should be used to this by now.

Go AMFA!!!

So, how can US air and AA's pilots agree to something and US air can't make their own pilots happy?

Every time I read an article about the MOU and/or anything about merging the pilots, I only read about US and AA pilots. I never see where the AW pilots are involved or are invited. Am I missing something? Or is this MOU including them but just not listed? If not, how the heck can the US/AA pilots move on before they are settled?

US (the airline) hasn't failed to make its pilots happy; the US East pilots, far outnumbering the US West pilots (formerly HP) formed a new union so that they could ignore the seniority list arbitration to which they had earlier agreed when the arbitration didn't turn out the way they wanted. It has nothing to do with Parker's inability to make his pilots happy.

The USAPA (the new pretend union formed to run away from the Nicolau seniority list arbitration) ostensibly represents all US Airways pilots - that's why you don't hear anything about HP pilots separately.

Further, the East pilot group's attempt to dodge the arbitration result with which they disagreed is fast coming to an end. If AA and US merge, the Nic list will probably be the list used when an arbitrator combines the AA and US lists. In effect, the tantrum thrown by the East pilots over the Nic arbitration result won't keep them from suffering the indignities of that arbitration but it did keep their pay beneath even nonunion jetBlue for several years.

Just goes to show how much seniority is worth ..... more than money sometime.

Was US offering pay in excess of Jet Blue?

There is no seniority integration problem with the other workers and he hasn't made any agreements with them either.
