Does anybody have any information on the November f/a transfers? Why is it taking so long to process? When will be find out the results?

I heard today. I guess you can check on the hub maybe.

The transfer award results for November are completed. The results revealed 10 of our PIT F/As transferring to CLT. Out of the 10 PIT F/A transfers nine are lineholders and one is a reserve with a hire date of June of 1984.

This should provide an opportunity for some reserves to become lineholders in November. PIT should maintain about a 28% reserve factor which will be slightly higher than the other domiciles

For most domiciles, the results of this transfer are quite favorable regarding base balancing.

Other results are:
PHL with 92 transfers to CLT with another 13 transfers opting to go to LGA and 2 transferring to DCA.

LGA had 15 transfers to CLT.

DCA had 15 transfers to CLT and one to LGA.

BOS had one transfer to CLT and four transfer to DCA.

Thank you.

Shouldn't the MECP be sending this info out as well as/before the locals???

Hello MF...do your job !!!

November transfer awards are out and I am so pissed because I didn't get into CLT. There are a handful of us flight attendants who were furloughed from CLT and now we don't even have priority because we accepted the recall last year and went to another base. That is wrong!

Will this cause more recalls in the future?????? Im at PSA and it cant be any worse
I know you think things can't possible be any worse but trust me, you don't want to come back to US Scareways! Save yourself the headache and embarrassment and stay with PSA or find another job. That's what I am doing because US Airways sucks! I can't wait to get the hell out!

If you were already furloughed from CLT and then displaced, you don't have a priority return.

If you were displaced and then furloughed, you should be entitled to a priority regardless if it was the base you were displaced to. That is just not fair!

Having seen the individual base restructuring, has anyone seen what levels of seniority actual MOVED within the system? (I can assure you the 10 people in PIT have 23yrs PLUS, but what about PHL and the LGA/DCA migration. BOS isn't a factor because NO ONE wants to go there for various reasons.............

The range is very wide spread. The most junior person from PHL to CLT was Nov 1999.

Supposedly there will also be another transfer into CLT offered for DEC. They let 133 people in for NOV, I think they wanted 125....wonder how many more they will ask for.....maybe those more junior will be able to go then.

Well, i will be very curious to see the migration numbers. PIT will still be at a very high 28% reserve factor (WHY?) and yet there still isn't a further reduction. The majority of the people in PIT LIVE there and will not be leaving VOLUNTARILY. This crew movement out of PHL looks very suspicious to me.........drastically reduce PHL for the late Fall/Winter and then be forced to rebuild in the Spring for the usual TA buildup. If this isn't a concerted, devious plan to play with employees lives and uproot MANY nothing does. BOS continues to be a problem and even the furloughed will PASS until the " cows come home". PIT is not being utilized but WHY is it being PROTECTED with such a high reserve factor? PKinsey has never had a handle on Crew Planning and this latest transfer of Flying and People looks very suspicious To ME......

This whole process is a joke. PK has no idea on what he is doing and never has. This affects many people lives. I know we have a business to run (someone tell Tempe please) but this just doesn't make sense. As Astro already noted, we will be SHORT, hello SHORT in PHL come spring. Does this NOT mean anything to people? I find it extremely hard to believe that other airlines of our approximate size or bigger has this problem. We couldn't organize a one car funeral or a one float parade. What the F is the problem with these people. For ANY of you that are remotely considering coming back to the "greatest show on earth" thing LOOOOOOONG and hard over it. It's a big decision and one you might end up regretting. For a lot that has changed a lot like above has remained the same. 🙄
