Pre-Chapter 11

So, why come on this forum and bust our stones????? Like I said before...the ones that present themselves to having absolutely NO SKIN in our game are either:

1. management....being paid to watch what WE say!

2. just plain "A$$HOLES"!!!!

take your pick Josh!

Didn't mean to be snarky in the response but its rather impolite of 700UW and Kev to continually demonize my profession. I respect the workgroups at AA and how despite your frustration with management and the current situation you fly me where I need to go safely and for the most part, professionally. I'd just like to have the same courtesy extended.

If you respect what AMT's, F/A's & Pilot's do at AA, then write Tom Horton and let him know how much you appreciate flying for AA, and HELP US instead of demonizing our profession.

Josh with all due respect...I've noticed you do have a propensity to agitate the union employees here with hit & run posts.
And in this environment, you being a salaried "professional", you'll find the respect hard to come by(ask E & FWAAA)... you'll get some traction refraining from every opportunity to take a swipe at the unionized labor. Maybe??

Continuously? Martyr much?

GMAFB. You're a wind up artist; no more, no less. You want respect? You have to give it to get it.

Say what you want but I enjoy a superior standard of living and job security than airline employees...

Josh
Union airline employees or your PUP airline employee friends at Centerpork? Just want to be clear on that.

I would think if your such a high-roller as you claim, why not get a time share in a corporate jet lease?

This way you can have your conceited J.A.P arse kissed as you require, since you apparently cannot receive that level of service on a union airline.

I know the F/A's will be happy they don't have to deal with another obnoxious prick with an "better than thou" attitude.

Be gone with thee....

You started it Josh, if you dont want to get a response you dont like, maybe you shouldnt post inflammatory comments.

*This is a guest post from a friend of Stone Street Advisors who prefers to remain nameless.
the bankruptcy case of American Airlines has aroused much discussion, and
particular concern amongst unions. In fact, there are several recent cases,
such as Kodak and Hostess that are causing similar concerns about the
futures for existing union employees, their pensions and health benefits, as
well as the pensions and benefits of retirees.
Last week, their attorneys, led by Sharon L. Levine of Lowenstein Sandler,
tried to have Judge Sean Lane hear their objection to the retention of Bain
& Company by American Eagle. Ms. Levine said that Bain’s participation
in upcoming labor negotiations ran the risk of “potentially hurting the
process.” Judge Lane dismissed her objections (which were not an actually
permissible basis for an objection to retention in any event) noting that
she wasn’t presenting facts, but her own views.
