. The last time I saw or heard of Lee Cormie, he was in an Alpine Bell 47 Turbine on fires out here in the early '80's. He's come a long way to be in an EC155 now.

Hey whirly, the driver on the 407 is a buddy of mine, nickname is Columbo....better Known as Richard Folk...ex Midwest contract pilot.Another buddy of mine is driving Timmies 155 out of Fox Harbour...also ex Midwest pilot...name is Lee Cormie....ac is CF-ORE.Have a good one!.....PS I was also flying our 407 around NS on Monday and last Friday...our's is white/ red/blue..

Thanks DGP was just curious about it... I''ve seen it buzzing around my area a few times, have been meaning to ask about it for ages but been side tracked with other things I guess..

Cheers

WG.

407 driver,Lee C. worked in Sudbury for 17 years flying 212 for air ambulance after leaving Alpine. He lives in Hamilton now,but the 155 is in NS for the summer.Yes,flying the 407 in NS is a short flight...nice having the range extender though...a lot of the gas stations close early down here....something to do with getting to the bar before the seats are all gone,I think?

it''s delivering the finest coffee and donuts of course...

This is "Top Secret" and I must kill all viewers of this post immediately after they read it, but the baggage compartment holds a deep fryer and coffee machine...

whirlygirl, the 155 is hauling execs around the local golf course''s and doing pickups and drop offs in Halifax,I would expect.Haven''t heard from Lee in a few months but he does read this site so we may get it from the horses mouth.Richard''s company just bought a new 407 for him to ride around in.The serial # must be in the 500''s.His old one was 108.

I would like to know where the 407 is parked in Bedford.I will be in N.S. for the month of Sept.to wipe the dust and cobwebs out of my cottage and then settle down with a nice cold one and visit a few people.

Mini,I''ve only been in Richards hanger once...it''s about 2 miles NE of the shopping centre at Bedford on the north side of town...give Dexter Construction a call...ask for Richard Folk.He would enjoy the chance to chat with a fellow chopper person,I''m sure...tell him Pottsy sent you.I will be working in NS in mid Sept. Will give Richard a call.
