What is with this person. All II see from her posts is she hates everyone. All she ever does is spew insults and point out other peoples weaknesses in forums. Please for her sake get her some help....Asign someone to monitor her meds. She needs it

I know her personally (in real life), she's a friend of mine. She is a fantastic person, very fun to be with, and a great flight attendant.

Everyone on here thinks I'm a rotten b*tch too and I'm actually quite friendly and positive.

I say it all the time- it's an airline internet forum- it's made for venting, speculation, and even drama that is better here than in the workplace.

I think she brought up some very valid points. From my vantage point, she was only trying to advocate her position and was ruthlessly chewed out by the folks over on the AA board (notably Straaight Talk and Mikey). Her downfall was that she continued to engage with people who shouldn't even be given the time of day. The hostility was clearly coming from the AA folks. I am not totally surprised by the reaction of the AA people. That attitude seems to permeate on board their flights as well (read: the customer is the enemy). Bitter, hostile, angry, and rather unpleasant flight attendants. Furthermore, there's an AA pilot over on the Airliners.net forum BLAMING the customer for his reduced salary and benefits. I'm sensing that it is pretty indicative of the employee culture over at AA. Makes one wonder why they're in the "service" business...

The epitome of hostile and bitter is the UA flight attendant group. Our passengers tell us about the rudeness and inflexibility of UA flight attendants all the time, the infamous UA prison matrons. But if it soothes your fragile ego to believe otherwise, obviously you have bigger personal problems than just the general public's perception of the typical harsh UA flight attendant.

Also, the typical UA flight attendant's obsession with AA is notable, and has been consistent across the range of UA flight attendants I have met. This obsession is inherent in the sick UA corporate culture.Quite frankly, most AA flight attendants could care less about UA, and rarely pay any attention to what the UA flight attendant do, other than for the fact that we are painfully aware how UA has set a new industry low for the legacy carriers, dragging us all down.

Oh puleez, get over yourself. The vast majority of UA flight attendants I know, and I guarantee I know a lot more of them than you do, are decent, hard working people who could not care less about AA.

Actually, I wish you nothing but the best. I have many friends at MANY airlines and I have worked for 2 myself. I have become somewhat knowledgeable after surviving 2 BK at one carrier and the tailend of another BK at another carrier. When I first started in this industry I didn't know crap about the industry, and was quickly woke up by my very first BK. At that time I took notice, I just wish that others that think they are indestructable would do the same. I have seen it all, much of it was very bad. You learn to listen to people, but toss out about 75% what your told b/c its horsesh#t, then do your own research and look at the big picture. One thing for sure, anything definite you will hear on the 6 o'clock news.. Many of my friends work at AA, They own homes, have children and they are very dear to me, however, they need to wake up..... This is a different industry, and unless they want to be steamrolled again, they have to learn to look at the big picture. Look at the bottom line, I don't think my airline is the best, and I know they don't give a rats ass about me or my job. That is just a reality, and it is everywhere. If I were to stand on the sidelines and cheer anywhere, it would be at USAIRWAYS, the east employees have been through hell and Deserve the BEST, for what they have given and had to put up with. On your board over at AA, people don't want to entertain the fact of something happening to them or something not going their way, this will bite you in the A@@ every time.. I say it constantly, look outside the box people. My CEO will sell our company off for a fast buck just as quick as yours will.. No ill will toward you, just do yourself a favor, and get creative, you will need it.

Gee, thanks for your concern 🙄 , but you should be spending your time updating your resume for when Tilton chops up UA into pieces. I'm more concerned about the new lows that AFA-represented UA, US and NW have set for the legacy carriers. The rest of the industry will continue to pay the price of the lows UA, especially, set, starting with the late 90's contract.

And jUSt how much money should Flight Attendants make?

Please Straaight, go back to your hole. AMR was a punk @ss little airline that wasn't supposed to survive deregulation. AMR INVENTED B-scales. They started the downward spiral. That's the facts. Now go enjoy the job you kept by screwing the TWA folks and quit embarrassing yourself. I'll take the Beauty over you any day.

Not your typical eloquent post, but you have stated my sentiments as well...

Off your meds again, I see. 🙄

Enjoy Tilton's "Great UA Garage Sale of 2008." It's coming.
