Racisists and Hypocrits

Doctor King was always careful not to reference his religious beliefs or Christian morals in his fight to change social policies. King never lead invocation in public or quoted bible verses in his campaign for equal rights. King recognized at a very early age that referencing such beliefs and morals would only distract from his urgent message. King knew that without God, life is everything and all things were possible. /s

Let me clarify my "huh". Why do you think I wold have any problem with what you have stated about King? Have you read the second line of my signature?

Personally I always thought the WRONG Black Leader got the Holiday.

I have much more admiration for Malcolm X.

Because IMO he spoke the real truth. That the ways for the Black man to advance was economically NOT politically. That and he flat out scared the shite out of white America. Just a few examples for all of you:

How much time did Malcolm X spend in the south where often the police and Klan were the same people? Probably not as much as MLK.

No Idea as to the answer, I suspect not nearly as much as MLK.

The reason I like what Malcolm had to say was he preached that the way to freedom was econimic NOT political, which is where his path and that of MLK's veered in a different directions.

I often ponder whether the black man would be better off today if Malcolm's viewpoint had prevailed.
