I am here to tell you that the bitter ex US mainline captains are going to ruin it for Republic pilots trying to
fly on US aircraft with AWA crews. These guys have shown a lack of common respect by venting and
blowing up while holding you hostage on the jumpseat. I now have 3 times...IAH-PHL..DCA-MYR..DFW-DCA.
I thought the jumpseat was sacred ground. You don't rip a guy a new one, or his pilot group..or his company.
Think about it...do you jumpseat on another OAL and rip into their company? Obviously not. Well it shouldn't
go the other way either.
Memo to ex mainline Republic Captain..
It was your career choice, fly MDA, fly for Republic, or be furloghed. Oh and you can still take the recall and use your E170 skills on the E190.
You need to be mad at Nicolau, AAA MEC/Negotiators, ALPA.....not the AWA pilot...we did nothing to you!
I am telling all AWA guys to watch out for Republic CAPTAINs, and give them a good piece of mind, and not
give them the jumpseat especially if they are AAA guys.
