We're tired of waiting...just make the announcement already. Get it over with....it's not fair to our employee work group, it is very stressful lately, yet alone to have this hanging overhead. Just let us know......

It is going to be Pit for sure. I heard Kerry C said we pretty much made the decison for them when 90 something reps in Pit called off on Christmas compared to a dozen or so in INT for the holidays.

I didn't know you had it like that with HRM Kerry Carstairs.

Over 250 calls on hold every night and over a 2 hour wait to book an International award how are they going to close an office and dump 800 of us??? This is going to be FUNNY!!!!!!!!!! Overtime offered everyday, all day now. Being on the phones now is no picnic. We in PIT reservations welcome a clousure!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I don't think they are basing it on how many reps called off over the holidays. MAY THE BEST OFFICE WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Who cares who called off when. I think they have been courting the idea of closing PIT for some time. Personally, I worked throughout the holiday and could kick myself in the rear for not calling off. If I could go back and do it again, I would have been home with my children enjoying the holidays. Instead, I was told numerous times how rotten I was and was wished a horrible holiday. Well, thank you very much ............ I had one because I was trying to rebook some pretty abusive, unappreciative moronic jerks that were worried about their precious gifts getting to their final destination when thousands of people were dying across the world ....... while a number of people I know are losing their homes and vehicles........... most importantly. while mothers were struggling with the idea of sacrificing one child to save another in the midst of a natural disaster. There will be other another Christmas for most of the belligerent jackasses I dealt with but none for those who died in one of the most horrific natural disasters known.

Close the damn office already and get me out of Hell.

i don't mean to be astute but wake up and smell the roses...........its not pit..... i heard the rendell rumor that if they pull out of pit he'll raise the rent at PHL.....sounds good but for one thing rents up when the lease is up.
and secondly,we heard the same rumor several months ago if he pulled base maintenance from pit....but with the press release from U today, maybe he did tell them that about base maintenance.....

Some Res and Ato agents might want to apply at Southwest.....US needs to let us know something soon.

The PA gov't already tried the "If you don't do this at the PIT hub then Philly doesn't that.." song and dance before. It doesn't work, but I guess it makes the voters feel better.

Sure it does. You won't see a dime for a new runway at PHL while US is still alive. Nada.

You don't think it's a coincidence that after pissing off "Fast Eddie" on the PIT leases that LUV is now at both ends of the state, do you?

I'm very sure that if the decision on which office to close was going to be based on call-offs over the Christmas holiday, there would have been 180 PIT agents that would have called off. Get it over with already so everyone can get on with their lives!!!!!! This is becoming cruel!!!!!!!!!!

I would never second guess fast eddie, cause he has a direct line into Herb and the boys from Texas are responding.

It's never YOU but ALWAYS someone else. Why shouldn't customers be angry over being unapreciated and treated like ####??

"Sure it does. You won't see a dime for a new runway at PHL while US is still alive. Nada. "

That's not the point. They said keep a hub in PIT AND PHL or else Philly gets nothing. POOF! PIT is gone.

My point is that you will note that PA is offering US nothing to keep anything in PA any further, no incentives, no help, and has now courted LUV at both of US' major outposts in the state.

You don't suppose that Fast Eddie had anything to do with that, do you?

With what US is proposing and/or has done (eliminating jobs, pulling the PIT hub, etc), the state itself is better off without US in the picture.

Here we have an employee who is representing YOU to the paying passengers.

This employee and his/her attitude makes that passenger and family decide if they'll ever fly you again.

They are "moronic, jerks, abusive, unappreciative".

I'm just betting this employee was courteous, smiling, and helpful to those passengers. Maybe not even one of those?

I have a news flash. In most companies, including mine, you treat customers with that sort of arrogant contempt, your sorry ass is out the door in a matter of hours, not weeks.

A lot of good people may be in a long line at the unemployment office soon. I certainly hope it doesn't happen and something turns around.

But if not, may I suggest you find this poster and thank him and those like him who caused it?

Youngblood is upset because they wanted to arrive with their luggage.

Youngblood should be working in another industry in order to improve his lifestyle, because he's surely causing the destruction of yours.
