Hawk is not a mechanic. ap tech, he didn't mention 700 clt mechanics either. I don't know or care what the numbers will be here in PIT as I am ready for my retirement this year. I will vote YES. I thank the company for allowing us to vote on their final offer. Most of my union brothers in Hangar 5 are voting yes. There is a growing support for the proposal.

Let's clarify since you seemed to fail to grasp my meaning.

I think anyone who votes to accept the unacceptable is the spineless one regardless of what the consequences for such actions are. On the other hand people who keep voting to reduce their standard of living as well as putting others out on the street, with benefits or not, are the ones who are truly pathetic and totally spineless. With that mentality corporate America can and will continue the slaughter of the American workers and all you're doing is helping them by agreeing. ICE HOLES IMO total absolute ICE HOLES who would play party to this insanity.

Well, Im sorry several hundred means 700 to me....go back and look at his post. "I don't care", "My union brothers"....I'm a bit confused here? Me,Me,Me?? Most of your unions brothers voting yes? Sure you are not an ALPA official scared S****** over the prospects of being unemployed? We will see on Monday....

So because you're ready to retire screw everyone, as long as you get yours.

The America worker deserve whatever is shoveled down their throats with that mentality.

Hope you realize retirement is no sanctuary as the corporate raiders are going after that too in case you are blind dumb and stupid and didn't know. Curt__ retired, thank goodness...hoping the IAM membership tell them to shove it.

most of us already started planning our future after usair we may work a little harder for a little less but we will be alot happier without the constant worry of if we'll have a job or not. Its time someone stands up to this company and stands up for what our forefathers fought so hard to get. selling your soul for a chance at 15 weeks pay????

If any of you are willing to vote yes for that pathetic tin parachute they are offering, don't ever complain again about the golden ones executives get.

Anyone ask the question --are the contract working rules the problem here---sure naybob management decisions have'nt worked ---but the work rules" basically "havent been changed for 18 yrs since merger with PIA---I know first hand ALPA hasnt changed--two big items have helped nail the coffin door down are the bid sheet and every 3 months bid for pilots---US Air is the ONLY one with a bid sheet. my .02$
