Scab of the Week

Like I said before, you are in desperate needof help scab. At least us "unionist" people dont go scabbing for scraps to eat and sleep at night. The real mechanics are on strike and I am a F/S for another airline that fully supports the strikers. Too bad you aint got the integrity to comprehend that because you are a scab and a union hater

Do you guys see how you all just let this go on and on with no corrections? I know that Ken, Hackman and local12 know better but instead of setting the record straight they continue to let this drag on. True unionism at work here for sure. Then there is poor Robbed, who is struggling as it is, that will believe anything a unionist has to say whether it is right or wrong. Here is a clip from the link I asked Ken to post earlier. I know he has it just as Hackman had the DOT Stats and refused to post them...How about those Stats Hackman? Are you going to post the new stats for us or am I going to have too, again? 😉

Take a look at this Hackman and Robbed.

I have never heard of a non-certified A&P Mechanic. I could be wrong but I do not think there is such a thing.

Again scab, please post what ever BS you wish, I could really care less. After the "world class" Scab Air stats, could you also post the number of maintenance related incidents that Scab Air has had in the past 9 months, the number of passengers stranded, and the number of scabs caught drinking before work? 😛h34r: :unsure: 😛h34r:

Also, if your scab airline ever grows to be a contender after BK...pffftt...(Chapt 7 is my guess), or even grows to half the size of AA, maybe we can then have a contest. Until then, try to keep tires on your flying junkpiles, stop pissing off your stranded passengers, get some decent aircraft that didn't start flying in the 60's, and do at least some of your own heavy checks. :unsure: :unsure:

So have at it SUPERscab....I'm on the edge of my seat with anticipation. 🙄 🙄

Ken? No comments for post #115?
Here is what 14 CFR part65 section 65.83 states:

§65.83 Recent experience requirements.
A certificated mechanic may not exercise the privileges of his certificate and rating unless, within the preceding 24 months

(a) The Administrator has found that he is able to do that work; or

(B) He has, for at least 6 months

(1) Served as a mechanic under his certificate and rating;

(2) Technically supervised other mechanics;

(3) Supervised, in an executive capacity, the maintenance or alteration of aircraft; or

(4) Been engaged in any combination of paragraph (B) (1), (2), or (3) of this section.

So whats your point?... :blink:

I have heard that term as well. I have also heard the term airman used also. My certificate clearly states "...has been found to be properly qualified to exercise the privileges of MECHANIC."

Are you really that stupid???

If you're an A&P mechanic YOU ARE AN AIRMAN!

"Repairman" BTW,is also an OFFICIAL certificate issued by the FAA.

:huh: ... 🙂

Yes but that is very generic now isn't it?

I do somewhat recall this from A&P School. So I will give you that. It seems that they were very limited in the things that they could do. He carries more privileges than an uncertified AMT if I recall correctly. 😛 Wouldn't you pretty much see a "Repairman" title in General Aviation?

Were you playing sick, baiting a hook when they taught this in School?

To get a repairman's certificate, you must be recommended by a repair station, commercial operator, or air carrier. You must

be at least 18 years old;
be able to read, write, and understand English
be qualified to perform maintenance on aircraft or components
be employed or a specific job requiring special qualifications by an FAA-certified Repair Station, commercial operator, or air carrier.
be recommended for the repairman certificate by your employer
have either 18 months practical experience in the specific job or complete a formal training course acceptable to FAA.

Kinda like some AMT's huh? 😛

Hey local, how many "repairman" do you know?

Thanks for once again illustrating your ignorance on this subject.

All those who are certified by the FAA are considered AIRMAN. Unlicenced mechanics are not therefore, they are not considered airman.

I have met and worked with the current Scab of the Week. He's a damn good man. Last I heard he is in management. Someone needs to tell AMFA to give it a rest.

Damn good man, by your scab standards? He's in management, polish his boots did ya? Good boy little scab. 😉

Give it a rest? You wish. 🙄
