Lead Story from reporter for local DC Channel 4 showed lines waiting for US ticket counter. Only TWO people working...people interviewed in line say they've been waiting five hours. One old guy says when he gets to the front he's getting his money back from his non-refundable ticket (yeah, right). Customers interviewed says USAir employees "don't seem to care..."
They cut to the Delta counter...it's fully staffed to cover the cancelations in the MidWest.
USAir spokesman (who wouldn't appear on TV) blamed the delays on "pilot rest requirements due to weather delays yesterday..". Beautiful.
Interview one guy who's trying to get to ROC. Says flights have cancelled last day and a half. One other guy has been here for 2 days waiting to get to SDF.
Reporter ends..."USAirways has many angry people here at Reagan National."
