Schedule Changes

Okay, I'm doing a bit of a refresher for Schdule Changes. Please feel free to add to it. I am specifically looking for guidelines and regulations on when we have to inform tha pax to the changes.

QIK Schedule Change:

CTRL-Q
Key 2 to search Queue AWV,28
<copy PNR down>
Key 4 to exit queue; relogin to QIK
F4, Enter PNR.

CTRL-I
Key S
Advise, Remarks.
F2, Caller 1/2/3 etc who you spoke with.

Guidelines:

DON'T HAVE TO CONTACT PAX IF:
- Same flight number; within 10 minutes difference in travel.
- Different Flight Number; Same scheduled times.

CONTACT PAX IF:
- More than 10 min difference in take off or landing.
- Different Flight Number, +/- 10 min from original schedule.

A lot of times I see schedule changes to passengers itineraries and they show up at the airport and their original seats are gone or not together all kinds of problems with SHARES (separate itinerary, equip changes, internet bookings)

I received my first schedule change e-mail recently since the merger. Luckily my seats had not changed.

I appreciate what you are doing to keep everyone up to speed. It sure helps us customers!
