CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A security breach compromised Charlotte-Douglas International Airport early Friday.
The Transportation Security Administration said a Hispanic man went around a security gate at the airport at 7:55 a.m. The security point was closed just after the breach. Officials also shut down Concourse C in search of the man. The concourse opened about a half-hour later.
TSA Spokesman Jon Allen said the man has not been located but police and airport workers are searching about a half-dozen airplanes. Allen said 10 other planes left before officials were able to search the flights. He said those flights will be reverse-screened when they land.......
