It's time to vote.....
It's time to vote.....
If its time to vote, then why are you here? It's time to vote.....
I for one dont think the TWU sold out. I think they understood what a vote might create. Such as no union at all. That would be a disservice to there members.
From some information I have heard they also felt like they would not win and to not only risk a loss but also a loss for everyone any repesentation. That is not a risk worth taking in todays airline enviorment. So for all of you who may be dissapointed in this decision be greatful we can now move forward and be stronger together. Solidairty as fleet agents is what we need now.
I don't agree with your thoughts at all. I along with many others, feel that the TWU had a very good chance at winning out over the IAM had there been an election. Many on the East side have had it with thier pathetic union, and would take anyone else but the IAM. The TWU would have gotten a majority of the west votes due to the IAM outsourcing issue alone. Everyone from the East that lost thier jobs due to outsourcing, would have voted against them IAM as well. This is a COMPLETE SELLOUT by the TWU, and the west people should be ready to riot over what they have done. I thought the IAM was pathetic, but this takes the cake. The TWU represented have been Screwed so badly, that you may as well lay back and light up a Smoke.. 😱
Look at it this way you can have the IBT in before the iam BS contract is over....LOL![]()

NOT
I agree with Henderfuzz, lets work on getting a good transition agreement. It's time to lick your wounds and join as one group. Hopefully the IBT will see the light and do the same as the TWU. Those with the crystal balls evidently are a little fogged up.
TIME FOR A IBT CARD DRIVE!!!!!!!!!

Docker tell me what if the IBT never went to your station and you had to look at this iam contract as it is and lets say it was a ibt contract how would you feel about that union????????????? GET A GRIP.
Hopefully the IBT will win the right to represent the mechaincs at the combined mechanics workforce. The IBT should be a shoo in.
