Well in the TWUs defense, if they really thought they could not win an election they did their membership a favor by stepping aside and averting possible decert and ensuing choas. Only the TWU officials know for sure what the real reason is. Hopefully it wasn't some backdoor deal.

WHY NOT LET THE MEMBERSHIP Decide??? This is what We Should be aware of in any UNION the Days that they {The Leader's}Make OUR decision's,weather IBT or IAM. this should have been brought to the TWU 8000+ Employee's for review not The Leader's Decision's. mww

Do you realize it took four votes on the east side for the members to unionize and two on west side and they barely got it on the west side.

Odds favored decertification, and that does not help the members nor the IAM or twu.

Strength in numbers, amts cant shut down an airline when on strike, but if you have no one to load them or check passengers in, planes won't be flying.

Maybe you need the ibt to send you to school to learn what trade unionism is all about, you are clearly misguided.

WELL WE NEED TO GET BACK TO THE SELL OUT BY THE TWU AND THATS THAT LOL
TWO THINGS HERE ARE A MUST FLIGHT CREWS AND AMT'S BOTH MUST HAVE A LICENCE.

YOU CAN GET THE SAME PERSON TO LOAD THE PAX'S AND BRING THE PART OUT TO THE AIRCRAFT DUMP THE LAVES LOAD THE BAGS SERVICE THE CABIN AND CLEAN IT ALSO DO THE WEIGHT AND BALANCE DO THE PUSH BACK AND WING WALK (YOU NEED 3)

THE CREW LOOKS AT THE WEIGHT AND BALANCE AND THEY LOOK AT THE LOG BOOK( AS A PROFESSIONAL MUST DO) SO WHO DO THEY CALL FOR A SIGN OFF ON THE LOG BOOK........??????????LAV MAN ?????STORES MAN?????BAG MAN????....GET MY POINT. 😉

NWA currently mechanic and related go on strike, they fly over the picket lines.

Get off your elitist way of thinking, an amt cannot ground an airline, the supervisor can sign it off or MEL it, you are not gods in aviation. When you realize this maybe it will enlighten you.

Funny you have a bunch of unlicensed people in your PHX hangar and you dont whine about them, but yet they are doing work mechanics use to do.

Funny you have a box loader for ups negotiating your contract, did the FAA give him a license to handle that box?

Let me give you a little clue about the ETOPS flights from CLT-LGW and FRA, they don't go unless the lav driver signs off his block on the ETOPS job card.
