Also, stated this would help with pilot shortages that were predicted. Wonder how soon the seven start going back, anyone have dates when they are pulled from schedule? Guessing these are all HP aircraft?

When 7 E-190 are delivered

The company seems to be remarkably quiet about the E-190. They just don't seem to talk much about it, good or bad. The narrow body order is for 60 jets and the jets will supposedly replace the 737s. But, East and West have a combined 737 fleet of about 95 aircraft. The difference will surely be made up by more E-190s. I suspect we'll be seeing a lot of E-190s on the property - far more than the 25 or so firm orders. And that is why they are so quiet about the airplane, right before they spring a T/A onto the pilot group. Nobody in the sandcastle wants to draw attention to the C scale rate for that airplane on the eve of schnookering the pilots yet again. And with the always ready and always helpful assistance from the East and West Gag'rs, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see their plan work.

If my memory serves me correctly, during Bankruptcy II as a condition of supporting the POR, GECAS removed aircraft from US Airways' fleet and holds the right to remove 11 additional B737s. 7 of the B737s can be repossessed or returned by US Airways this year. US Airways will take delivery of 7 more EMB-190s this year, 14 next year, and begin the 37 A320 family aircraft deliveries in 2008.

ALPA was given a copy of the fleet plan earlier this year and was informed of this situation.

What is the delivery schedule for 190's this year? and how many are to be delivered in 2008?
9 are to be delivered by the end of this year which is lower than originally planned, Embraer production delays , for a total of 11.

For 2008 I believe the number is 14 which would give us a fleet of 25 which is the whole order at this point.

The 737s are leaving from August to November .

No We Only Have ONE A/C 335.

I'm going from memory here but I know these are EFIS tail numbers:

164
166
175
303
304
305
306
307
308
309
312
313
314
322
334

The hardballs:
154
155
156
157
158
302
332

The rest I just can't remember off hand. 335 left two months ago. 174 left about four months ago. Both were EFIS.

So are the 737's being returned East or West aircraft?
I hope all of them are WEST.... The West 7-dirty-7's are total crap...

The passengers hate them, the fa's hate them... The only one's who love them are the 737's cockpit crew... Mostly always in a dream land... about how wonderfull these birds are... Only for them... and there "lifestyle" 🙄
I am all for the AirBus A/C, and any "NEW" NG 73's... but any and all old 737 on the west that go will get a big send off from the FA's on the west.... GOOD For them to send them away... 😀 Send all of them..... Every LAST ONE AWAY....
