Should 700uw Change Names

Your so wrong about that. No one mentioned anything about emergency landings, just you.
For the record, if you think returning to the field is not bad, then go ask the FAA and our QA department who have to now discuss why we had three in one day. You can stop cutting and pasting MAE's numbers now. We have all certified mechanics on our property and have to explain to the FAA, at a very critical point in our companies situation, how this is happening in-house. And no, QA can not go to the FAA and say it was lack of manpower or parts or that management was rushing us. We have to accept what has happened proffesionally and responsibly. Like some people on here should!

Probably happening because you and the rest of your managers are pushing the mechanics to make their ETRs vs Safety and the lack of parts and maintenance stations.

16 Maintenance stations for 270+ aircraft how many planes are actually in the RON for maintenance at night versus being at non-mtc.

But since you are not in CLT and you dont know exactly what transpired, you should take your own advice.

I happen to know that even with shortage of parts, manpower and maintenance stations, the boys and girls are doing a marvelous job. We're doing the best we can with what we've got. And there isn't a single management person, starting from the top guy who isn't saying so. As safe as always, never cutting corners or doing less that required. I hear the attitudes every day, I am sure CLT is that same as PIT, but they produce a great product.

The whole point of this topic is that you wont admit that your wrong about all the diatribe you went on ranting about before. You have not yet, and you probably wont. We all make mistakes. If you have kids you would know, it's not cool to talk about other people's kids, because you never know what yours may bring. 😉

There are 143 airplanes that RON in those 16 maintnenace stations which means that more then 1/2 of the fleet is in a mtc station every night.

Ahh....so we have in-house gear issues and in-house door seal issues.

Very nice.

Ummm, Bryan....Want to comment on this?

Or LavMan?

I know you asked Bryan and not me, "Curt" Alias "cavalier". Bryan and myself worked as a team the last two years in maintenance riding a golf cart back and forth from the machine shop to the hangers doing whatever the hangers were needing at the time.

All you are doing is badgering him and using his real name acting like a child instead of the grown adult you pretend to be hiding behind that fake intelligent facade you put up. I tried identifying you but you refused to give me your amateur call sign choosing instead to play the child’s game where Bryan and myself have made it well known exactly who we are which adds credibility to our posts/statements where yours is no different than reading the writings in your "blog". Instead of mocking the abused and downtrodden U mechanics, why don't you get yourself a real life and start by growing up so your children have an example on how to live.

With “tough loveâ€￾---Curt

Just forget it!! Its just not worth arguing about!!! Anybody who ever worked at U or any other facility know how things work and what goes on. Just one question PITMTC, why do we see supervisors stamps or signatures on specific job card blocks? I thought mechanics were responsible for performing the work?

Was the work actually done or was it re evaluated and whipped by a supervisor? Hurry, hurry, hurry...we have to have it out in 15 days!!!!! I have seen this happen more than once!!!I have seen paperwork for an EA which gives instructions and refers to the AMM on accomplishing the task. You are told to replace a seal during the job task, funny thing is U does not own the seals? Bet if you check the paperwork all blocks refering to replacement of the seal are stamped off with a triangle seal.(supervisors). Just an observation.........

Bottom line, people make mistakes!!!! What do some of you morons want, an aircraft loaded with people augering into the ground????? Then you can say it was in-house or third pary maintenance fault and prove your point?

This was out of line. You first paragraph implies a lot of negative issues with no support. And you second one was even worse.

I am not BS'n anyone on here. I state what I do and know. If you have seen different then so be it. I do know that we have a safe maintenance department and I have never thought twice about putting my family and friends on any aircraft.

And how is this relevant to 2 returned aircraft???

I'm not seeing the connection. Maybe the Mods can figure it out.
