Single agent workforce makes debut

Have you ever thought that your personality and communication style may make your opinions irrelevant at CHQ?
One would hope that the "brain trust" in Tempe wouldn't be that dumb, but the jury is still out....

PineyBob,

I guarantee you that most people who read this board disregard your thoughts.

An interesting statement on behalf of the 570+ people reading this forum right now. Not counting the many, many others that read this forum but aren't right now. Any documentation to back it up?

BoeingBoy,

You're right. Let me qualify my statement.

PineyBob, I guarantee you from PM's that (most) many people who read this board disregard your thoughts.

Actually no! I was originally sitting on the head, which is the perfect place to comment on you. Then I flushed

I'll cheerfull accept being pompous and arrogant but I do draw the line at blind obedience and being a self serving lap dog for my employer.

Being an invertabrate like you are, the idea of standing up for others as well as yourself is clearly something you're incapable of.

Have a nice day! 😛 😛 😛

again.....................loser!

You've got mail!

Gotta give our boy credit he's one of a kind. What kind I don't know. But definately one of a kind.

So when is US buying out UA?

Eyes just roll at the mention of his name. 🙄 🙄

I could probably paper my office with PM's (if I'd bothered to save them) stating you're the most hated man at the airline and that no one respects you, and the vast majority disregard your thoughts.

Now, go crawl back under your rock like a good little boy and stop antagonizing paying customers, sheesh. Are you for real? Your behavior on this board, tonight especially, was read by more of my friends than at any other time in the past. Someone actually called me to tell me to check it out! Lots of people won't step on board another US plane for a lot of valid reasons lately, however, your posts certainly didn't entice new business or instill confidence that they can trust the PIC. Congratulations! Well done.

actually the quote piney uses makes driver's point. The folks out there trying should be applauded. And most posts on here blame Tempe for not trying. I think they are trying to do a lot of things and folks might not agree with them however they might still just win for being on the field and trying to play the game!

He forgot to qualify that with the now standard infamous "maybe, maybe not" escape clause.
He could save alot of time by just changing it to maybe not.

At the risk of using bandwith already used let me re-post this so whoever didn't see it gets a chance to see it.

IMO this is precisely why this mouthpiece is dangerous as well as annoying. He doesn't get it. He never will. His fear and lack of self-confidence blinds him:

He dreams of flying a widebody and being either in management or holding an elected position in ALPA. All unlikely. Especially when he sees how many numbers he loses as his often referred to ALPA "experts" integrate the seniority list.

He dreams of folks looking up to him and respecting him and thinking he is important. Even more unlikely.

He thinks he is something he is not. And people on this board with intelligence can see right through him. Easily.

He is dangerous because he doesn't understand or respect his profession. He thinks it is a job. And he is willing to do his job for any amount of money. Because he has no confidence in his ability to make a living outside of flying airplanes.

He is the poster child for the 57% aka GAG. They were not, and are not, willing to accept a risk of company liquidation to stand up for their profession. Because they think their profession is a job.

They "live to fight another day" but that is a day they know will not come. Because they have no integrity. No self-confidence. No backbone and no ability or desire to do anything other than fly airplanes. And they will accept anything, and I mean ANYTHING, to continue to have "a job".

They have telegraphed this fear to Jerry Glass many times. This thread is yet another one of his telegraphed messages. Telling Glass he (they) will repeat and believe anything that provides a ray of light for a pilot however dim or unlikely that ray of light is.

He is the face of the 57%. The pilots who truly think they saved the airline. Saved "jobs". Which makes them as arrogant and as ignorant of the airline business as they are cowardly.

This is why he gets under folks skin. Because he is a jellyfish. And most who post on this board are not.

I've decided to go with a more general term of "Invertabrate" so as to not insult Jellyfish. At least if you rub a jellyfish the wrong way they will sting you.

I have to be careful, I don't want to end up like Imus and get the jellyfish lobby after me. 😛 😀

Outstanding point about the jellyfish stinging you and trying to protect itself when threatened.

I hereby withdraw the jellyfish comparison.

But I think I might go with amoeba. Defined as follows:

Any of a large genus (Amoeba) of naked rhizopod protozoans with lobed and never anastomosing pseudopodia, without permanent organelles or supporting structures, and of wide distribution in fresh and salt water and moist terrestrial environments ;

Now that definition fits him to a T.

But seriously, guys like him, and there are more than just a few, have allowed a profession to flounder because of their fear and panic.

But I will sum it up fairly simply. His group won't risk company liquidation to stand up tall and fight for a proud profession. My group will.

As we speak their "another day" is upon us. And they still won't fight. Witness his mouthpiece posts on this website. Then talk to the guys he flys with. It's truly pathetic.

Pilot, I somewhat disagree. To me it is a job. The 57% are simply the over 55 gang (Geralization, I know there are exceptions)who throw everyone else under the bus to stay in the left seat that they have been in for 20 years. They are big time scared of change, have very little self confidence or their EGO requires the left seat and they would do anything and I mean anything, to stay there. I still see them, even today whith all we know and all that has happened to us, they still operate in the least safe manner. They would, today, take another paycut. I am sure they would take another 50% as long as they could stay in the left seat. They are easily identifiable if you look around. They still wear certain items that are no longer required by the company, but their ego requires they wear them. It is my personal opinion that the company knows this, that is why we have had very little real progress on the combined contract. Sorry I am so harsh, but it is time to get tough with our own. In times past, ball bats would have been used to ensure the rank and file were in line. Now all we can do is attempt to humiliate them.
