We were talking about the complexities of integrating new technologies driving up costs, often over budget.  It happens. Keep making your stupid argument to prove nothing though.
 
Back on track, I totally support welfare for the working poor. If you are working and can't make enough money to meet your needs I feel you should get help. I don't feel mooches should be able to sit on their ass year after year after year after year after year and live off of the taxpayers.  That needs to stop.

If you are a public servant in an elected office who's function is to represent me and my interests and you are at a public function you are available to the public. I know reading comprehension is difficult for those with Government School educations but look up the respective definitions of Slave versus Servant.
 
I'm not a giant fan of Rand Paul. Mostly because like his Dad I am a true believer. However, I firmly believe that when both the Republicans and the Democrats attack a person then I think that person is likely right.

Ron Paul has NEVER voted for an unbalanced budget
Ron Paul has been a champion of Individual Liberty since he was first elected.
Ron Paul has has NEVER met with a lobbyist.

And this compares equally with Bush & Obama collapsing the economy? Ordering drone strikes killing thousands of innocents?
 
Not to mention wars in Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan & Yemen. All costing TRILLIONS of tax dollars and the untold lives of the citizens of these countries, along with the lives of US Soldiers.
 
Not to mention this type of "Walking Around Money" that while illegal persists in virtually EVERY election in every state. Some are paid to lobbyists post election. It's called crony capitalism.
 
Also, some of the bribes in this case go directly to the campaign people, namely Doug Weed & Jesse Benton who did not see eye to eye on certain things. If you look at the history of those two you'll find some very interesting affiliations.
