TALKS OF SEPERATE CONTRACTS OVERHAUL AND LINE

Isn't this a coincidence that this separate contract rumor comes right after the Tulsa local started spreading the "LINE WILL TAKE OVER AND SCREW OH" rumor?

Yeah, but try telling that to a coward that urinates on himself everytime you try to approach them.

And if you noticed. I used "himself" pertaining to male. The ladies I know around here are tougher and fight more than the crybabies and punks I see around here.

to get the company to quit nickle and diming us we need to vote this down massively, instead of by only 600 votes. unless we do that they will keep throwing crap at us.

bob i agree with 99% of what you usually say on here, but i do have to disagree with you on the mci point. i was in st.louis at the time of the 2003 vote for concessions and i was a no vote as i am now. but i sorry to disagree with all native aa guys blaming mci for the concessions in 2003. at the time there was probly less than 600 guys at mci. so according to my math even if every single one voted yes for the concessions, the 9000 aa mechs should have been able to out vote them. but if it makes you all the native aa guys feel better to blame mci guys for the concessions i guess there is nothing i can do about it. but you all need to look at yourselves for that passing. hell i dont think there was 2000 twa amt in the whole system at that time. so if every twa guy voted for it, it should have been voted down by the aa natives.

At the time there was around 1000 and over 90% were YES. This is not "Blame TWA", IIRC STL had a lot of NO votes and obviously most of the TWA guys in NY voted against it as well. This is about guys who take the trust of the members, get them to sell themselves short through fear and then are rewarded as they move on, either in the company or the International. We went to MCI to talk to the guys after their President Butch said OK but Gordon Clark freaked out when we showed up and would not let us speak to the guys. He pushed the YES vote, they closed the base and now he has an appointed job with the International. from what I hear he is on the DFW Headcount but doesnt report to DFW and doesnt reside in Dallas. Unlike his members, he didnt have to move.

again 9000 out votes 600

??????????? Who knows if a few hundred votes were able to pass the 1995 6 1/2% over six contract?

What was LBO1 results? 56% to 44% or so?

Has anyone seen the LBO results by local? I haven't!

I HEARD THIS RUMOR IS TO INSURE THE DIVISION BETWEEN LINE AND OVERHAUL REMAINS IN PLACE.
I ALSO HEARD THAT "brownmech" IS A COMPANY AGENT HERE TO KEEP THAT ISSUE WHIPPED UP WHILE WE ARE VOTING!

STAY THE COURSE!
VOTE NO!
IGNORE THE COMPANY AGENT!
COMPANY MAN YOU THINK TELL ME WHY TWU OR ANY UNION MEMBER WOULD TOLERATE TIMCO GOING TO BOSTON TO REPITCH THE SEATS WITH NOT ONE AA MECHANIC DOING IT YOU GUYS IN TULSA WENT TO BAIL OUT TIMCO WHEN THEY SCREWD THE C CHECK LINES TALK ABOUT COMPANY MAN LOOK IN THE MIRROR

Be careful when you group all of TULE into one. Those Crew Chiefs that did go were being told to go by management. If anything the union did not step in. But as with many situations there is no violations of the contract.

Look what Brown can write for you

Nice sentence. Try a period or comma next time while you're shouting.

I agree with you here mci didn't pass the 2003 concessions on their own !

I don't Blame former TWA GUYS ! I BLAME THE TWU FOR 2003 !!! They have a long history of GIVEBACKS
AND MISERY !

2003 in hindsight was a mistake but back then we were told it was better than bankruptcy. Knowing what we know now we should had let them file back then
