you know what we need to put this twa/aa thing to bed, dont want to be like us air, lol. they are already trying to divide oh and line, we shouldnt make it worse so from now on i will keep my opinions to myself i dont want to start something else. but maybe someone can clear this up for me. if the judge abbrogates are contract, from my understanding that leaves us without a contract. so does that mean we can do self help?

Be careful when you group all of TULE into one. Those Crew Chiefs that did go were being told to go by management. If anything the union did not step in. But as with many situations there is no violations of the contract.

I never heard of any union member being forced to go on a field trip!

Tulsa might have tools like cirri and hewitt in office but they do not speak for the entire membership because if they did that would make for a sorry situation. I had the pleasure of speaking with hewitt this evening about the Ghost's ad in the Tulsa World. I asked him what were the lies in the ad and he said the OSM point aabout making $10.00 less is misleading. I asked him why there wasn't any language gauranteeing future aircraft overhauls like the new Boeing and Airbus aircraft going to Tulsa and he said because the company never guaranteed language like that before why would they now.

The Line AMTs and Overhaul AMTs are united because WE are the ones responsible for maintaining the aircraft in a safe, airworthy condition NOT appointed, unaccountable international officers or telepromter reading officers.

My goodness this Hewitt guy is a dumb as a rock! Isn't obvious that you have to guarantee future aircraft overhaul when the company is trying to get rid of most of it.

I can't believe this guy is negotiating our future. No wonder the company doesn't respect us.

I'm nobody, just conveying my opinion whether it be right, wrong or indifferent. Nothing personal, I would just hate to see someone get themselves into trouble, even the people here that I don't care for, when they are running high on emotion and stress as is warranted in my opinion with everything that we have going on. Just trying to put out a reminder we are not alone on here.

Yes you are correct. As I do not go on field trips I would not know. Something about turning down so many and being passed for the next?

No one is forced to do anything, but at AA under the TWU it is done.
