I agree with big 'D' above. I also vote NO to the IAM pension. Period. Now the retirement plan they have at International and District for themselves.............that's different.

I figure that these are new negs. and a new year . I was trying to get some feedback on anybody's thoughts. Your's also.

You try and deal with this company and see how far you get.

You can start by telling Dougweiser and the boys that cost neutral aint gonna happen!! We won't be trading anything. No agreement will ever get reached if the company wants to take something away!! As bad as the current contract is we will keep it before we give anything back. NO GIVE BACKS for anything you hear!! :angry:

There is no "MINE" listed on the 142 site, try again
For the EAST there are no new negociations---or did you forget that we are under contract till 2009?
The WEST contract is open for section 6, or transition for one or both.
The feedback was given awhile back durning the survey don't you remember?
If you are what you say you are, walk amongst the membership and you receive alot of feedback.

The iam pension plan is just another chain to keep the membership from keeping the membership from looking elsewhere for represntation and or decertification.

During the first BK negocitations the plan was a pushed, and a high multiplier was first given. But a definite $ amount was never given, only a possible $. Word came out from the hubs that durning meetings the membership was told the $ would not be what was dangled out for the membership to bite on.
