Having to craft a cogent point/counterpoint can be tough for people used to relying on prepackaged talking points & memes. Be kind.
Buy him a radio for Christmas that can tune in something besides AM.

One way to eliminate the threat from radical Islam.
Or ensure the "apoplectic" war that both groups want

Lots of people die

No one wins

All for nothing

Save a collection of myths

Yet again

As the world turns...

You just like to hear yourself talk.

No one cares about your nonsense.

Beg to differ there...IMHO, Cruz will be the likely nominee.  I'd rather not have my president pandering to "values voters" and proclaiming his faith to his lord and savior Jesus Christ.  While many consider Jimmy Carter to be the worst president (which is debatable), there is NO doubt that he was far more religious and had far more faith than any of the panderer's in the GOP field.  That would include Ted.  But he kept his religion out of running the country.  I'm old enough to remember when there were concerns that if JFK were elected, the US would be run by the Pope.  Far from it.  But you put someone in office who plans on running this country as a "Christian nation", then you have little more the Taliban singing Christmas carols.

Exactly

When he overtakes the Donald in the polls, the donald will start with the nationalist, birther rhetoric.

It will be a new clown show.

I do not think he will make it out of the primaries.  His primary financial support comes from one wealthy donor.  The Wilks brothers gave $15 million to the Super PAC.  Once Cruz starts to bomb in the primaries I think the money will dry up and he'll go back to being the US Sen from TX..... ugh.

My money is on Rubio.  Sad when he seems to be the best hope of the GOP.

Irony.

Quotes are used to highlight an exact statement.  I never said 'You do not think' I said "I do not think ......"  Secondly, I had some other words after the words you misquoted that changed the meaning of the words you misquoted.

Seems you are the one with the thinking problem.

Other than that, great post.  Just what we expect from you.

I have a feeling place of birth will not be much of an issue for Cruz.  I think we all know why that is.

HI kids, thought I'd check in.

Cruz leading in Iowa by 5, but it's early.

I found it funny how Cruz was mocked when he announced.
Reagan was mocked as well, that didn't end well for the naysayers.

I can't wait until the real debates start.
Cruz is a Princeton and Harvard graduate and at Princeton, they now have the "Ted Cruz" award for the debate team.

Cruz has played it perfectly to date.
He's alienated no one from the Trump band wagon, and the current situation with terrorism on the front burner plays right into his wheelhouse.
