Well..we were willing to die if needed for, as you comically call it, "your foray", and i think my disgust meter for liberals has now been extended even beyond the digital scale.

I'm only asking how we pay for it.  Back in 2001 I figured our tax cuts would be rescinded because we were at war...Americans needed to sacrifice for the defense of our country.  Instead...we were asked to shop.  When we invaded Iraq with a deficit...I figured NOW would be the time Americans would be called upon to sacrifice - and the tax cuts taken back.  Instead, we plowed ahead (and troops lacked armor, but what the hell, you fight the war of choice with the army you've got).  And to pay for it...we got ANOTHER tax cut.  Republicans LOVE wars....they go to bed at night DREAMING of a war...they wake up...shorts soiled from their visions of bombs and guns and raids....when asked to do SOMETHING for the war effort....they buy yellow ribbons for the back of their SUV's.   Are you a volunteer in the military?  If not....of if just a reserve....I suggest that when Cruz says "So help me God", you head down and DEMAND to be on the front lines.

It apparently wasn't good enough in a war we didn't even need to fight....a war that pretty much unleashed ISIS.  Over 4,000 American's gave their life over there...for what?  And we couldn't even pay for it.  We took a surplus and turned it into a deficit and told people to go shopping (and buy a ribbon for the SUV) to "support our troops".   Are you willing to say that this talk about Obama's debt is just a bunch of bullshit claptrap that the right has spouted?  That there is "good debt" and "bad debt"....the good debt is the debt that kills people in the name of "collateral damage" and the bad debt is the debt that  helps Americans here at home?  Because the right wing hard on for war will do nothing more than shoot that debt up just as fast as it has under Obama.   But you will get your token tax cut to help increase this war debt, so it's all okay.
 
 I'll tell you what - you all want war so bad....Cruz will get my vote under one condition...His first act (before declaring war) is to bring back the draft.  Commit our kids to defend our country.  And make sure that there are no exceptions....even his kids will be fair game just as soon as they turn 18.  If we are serious about "defending our country", then military service for ALL should be mandatory.  School can wait - your country needs you.  Is that a deal?

ZERO argument from me there. I've had the sad duty of attending funerals of friend's sons lost to this mindless insanity. Here's just a gentle "hint" kids: HOW was it ever even possible to utterly destroy the then world's 4th largest military in 1991, with the loss of less than 200 American lives KIA....and afterwards just stand by and watch our incredibly brave children be senselessly slaughtered by the thousands for years through utterly INSANE "rules of engagement"? Hint: BOTH political "parties" are nothing but completely self-obsessed scum, many of which (like Bush/Obama/Hilllary) are apparently, just overtly owned-and-operated by arab oil money.
 
Whether you're aware of this or not: In purely military terms we could have fairly easily destroyed Iran while Carter instead let the whole world see America humiliated long ago, and actually conquered the whole middle east in the wake of Desert storm in '91....so YOU tell me what's "really" going on here anymore?

How even DARE you suggest such a thing? Try attending even one funeral for a courageous young man who was given precious little more than merely two decades of life, look to his young widow, and then get back to us all on on how we "want war so bad"....."Liberals" clearly "live" only inside some truly insane little Fantasyland.
 
War is the worst of all possible evils, save for that of surrendering one's own country/culture/people to any enemy. Killing each other is arguably the most utterly obscene act any society can manage. Only human beings somehow manage to do such on a large scale. "What a piece of work is man...How noble in reason...In act an action how like an angel"?...Yeah...spare me. The murderous barbarism of war is sadly sometimes required for any society to survive it's enemy's intentions, but I challenge you to find experienced soldiers anywhere who would ever gleefully "want war so bad"....war is no political point/internet-"tough guy" nonsense nor movie or video game. A whole lot of people always get brutally killed in any actual war, whether it be by the thousands or even the millions.

It's funny, I haven't noticed any alarm from the left about the debt during this Obama run up.

Nope...you sure haven't.  For me personally, I WAS a bit concerned about it back in 2001 and 2003....when we had a couple of wars to fight and I thought rescinding the tax cuts might help pay for them, but conservatives didn't seem too worried, since (as Darth Cheney said) Reagan proved that deficits don't matter.  But I have SURE heard about the debt under Obama.  I'm just wondering if the debt will still worry you guys as it continues it's upward climb under a republican.  Will you?  Or will your tax cut (that you WILL end up paying more with) make it all okay?

Here's a thought for you...should Cruz or any of the other warmonger GOP candidates win....you want to kick ISIS butt...right?  And you agree our militray needs to be beefed up...right?  So should it appear that the Cruz (or any other GOP) tax cut not trickle in fast enough to cover the war debt, how about YOU donate YOUR entire paycheck "for the safety of America" .  Does that sound like a winner to you?

Remember....Obama isn't running, and the GOP is promising tax cuts and ass kicking.  If kicking that A-rab ass ends up costing more than they can bring in, would you be willing to give back your tax cut?  AFter all....I've only heard for the last 8 years that this debt was going to doom my grandkids.  If it continues to rise under a republican - will my grandkids future still matter?
