I already have my own Bible. I have read it, as I have the Torah, Quran and some other religious texts.

Dad is a double Masters Degree holder...one History, the other MBA, (did his history thesis on the crusades, and have it in my writing collection). I took some of the same courses from his professor at my university (his). Damn proud of the old man.

They are all interesting reads. Let me know when you can identify the distinct differences between the religious texts.

Nope...you sure haven't.  For me personally, I WAS a bit concerned about it back in 2001 and 2003....when we had a couple of wars to fight and I thought rescinding the tax cuts might help pay for them, but conservatives didn't seem too worried, since (as Darth Cheney said) Reagan proved that deficits don't matter.  But I have SURE heard about the debt under Obama.  I'm just wondering if the debt will still worry you guys as it continues it's upward climb under a republican.  Will you?  Or will your tax cut (that you WILL end up paying more with) make it all okay?

Interestingly, I opposed the war.  But conservatives like to say "if you felt that way, you were free to give it back".  I felt that we ALL should have given it back.  Bet you would have balked at that.   The most sacrifice Americans made for the "war on terror" was to buy a magnetic yellow ribbon for the back of their SUV while giving silent thanks to God that YOUR kid wasn't a "volunteer".  
 
In the last war that the US won, we had rationing...we had a much higher tax rate....Americans were asked to sacrifice - whether that was from sending a son to the front lines to getting ration stamps for meat.  The only thing I want...which I think you are doing....is for conservatives to admit that the debt doesn't bother them all that much....certainly not enough to sacrifice should our president decide to deploy our military.
